Perfect for removing lead from a pistol barrel
These work great wrapped around on old worn out bore brush for removing lead from a barrel. Always make sure that this is actually copper and not copper plated steel.

Copper scrubbers are one of the most useful cleaning tools & the Chore Boy Copper Scrubbers are among the best made & best price
I've used the Chore Boy Copper Scrubbers for years and they are a great product.More or less, these are copper strands that are spun, shaped, & bundled together, allowing them to be used as a scrubber/scouring pad. Size-wise, the scrubber is generally about 2 to 3 inches in diameter (obviously this size changes once the scrubber is stretched, compressed, or used.)As a copper scrubber, these have some advantages over steel and foam/fabric/plastic scrubbers. This biggest advantage is probably that a copper scrubber will give you much more aggressive cleaning action than a foam or plastic pad will, yet it is not nearly as hard on cosmetic finishes as steel is. This is thanks to copper being softer than steel and makes these scrubbers especially well-suited to cleaning stainless cookware/tools. I use these scrubbers and Bar Keeper's Friend to clean my All-Clad cookware...compared to the foam pads I used to use, using these copper scrubbers DRAMATICALLY reduces the effort needed to clean cookware that is seriously dirty/gunked-up, Additionally, these copper scrubbers will not rust and so they won't crumble apart due to rust (not to mention it eliminates concern from accidental ingestion of rust.)Due to the differences in usage conditions and frequency of usage, how long these last will vary dramatically based on who's using them on what and how often. I use these on a pretty frequent basis and these usually last me about 2-3 months. So while I cannot tell you how long these will last you, I think you will be satisfied with how these hold up. I usually replace them once small bits start breaking off.The biggest downside to these is that they are expensive. Copper is expensive and since this is made of copper, there's no way around the price. Since copper scrubbers work so effectively and save me significant time over other products, to me the higher price is completely justifiable. Overall, I highly recommend Chore Boy's copper scrubbers.

Do not rust
If you ever want the best copper pad this one is the best ever. My family been using this brand for over probably 50 years. They do not bleed copper color when they get old. They last a long time and I eventually changed them out. They’re hard to find in stores. I found them in a store once and bought all 8 packages. Now that Amazon sells them. I never will be without them

Soap scum beware!
If only Cinderella had a few Chore Boy scouring pads at her disposal, cleaning up after her wicked step-mother and ugly step-sisters wouldn't have been so terrible. No exaggeration, 10 minutes with one of these and my disgusting, soap scummy shower was sparkling again. The gray build up on the tile floor? Chore Boy's eat that gunk for breakfast. I had never used one of these miracle pads before and was AMAZED how easily (read: very little elbow grease) they got up the muck. Full disclosure--it was actually fun to use! My husband was laughing at me as I excitedly told him about my cleaning adventures but when he saw for himself what a terrific job they did with such little effort, he was equally impressed. Now, you only get 2 pads to a pack and they do come apart somewhat as you scrub--little bits of copper will flake off here and there (but it's not like it disintegrates everywhere), so you may want to order a few packs just to have extras on hand. I used one pad on my shower and could definitely clean our other shower with it as well, without having to replace the pad with a fresh one. Keep in mind that I'm talking serious deep cleaning here, between the hard water and caked on scum that have built up over the years (and yes, we do clean our showers regularly but duh, apparently we've been using the wrong tools for the job). I used a simple cleaning solution of vinegar and Dawn dish soap but you could easily only use the pad and a little water and achieve the same tremendous results. I'd used Scotch Brite scouring pads in the past but now I'm a convert. Chore Boys are the boys for me!

Not worth the price!
It shiws that it comes in a box! It doesn't. This is the second time I bought this item and pay more than I'm suppose to because it shows that it will come in a box! Both times it comes 2 single ones just like all the others. I paid the extra price because the ones I just to get in the box last sip much longer than the ones that are single. I will not being from them anymore.
