Callaway HX Soft Flight - Foam Practice Golf Balls

I bought these Callaway orange foams golf balls, the Caiton yellow foam golf balls, and the Pride yellow foam gold balls from Amazon and then tested them all out. These Callaway balls are by far the best. They are the firmest of the 3 and have the most accurate flight and feel. They are perfect for my back yard. When I take a full swing with a 7 iron and hit them perfectly they fly about 50 yards. They also hold up better with some wind because they weigh more. The other two brands Caiton and Pride are also pretty good foam balls, but not as firm and they weigh less, so they the feel isn’t as good when you hit them. They work fine, but my preference is definitely for these Callways balls. The only downside is the fact they are significantly more expensive at $1.11 per ball ($19.99 for 18) vs. the $0.62 per ball ($7.45 for 12) for the Pride balls, but they are a little less expensive then the Caiton balls which cost $1.17 per ball ($13.99 for 12). If you just want the least expensive option, go with the Pride balls. If you want the best, get these Callaways.

These are great for practicing inside your garage in your backyard. My house is brick with a brick chimney and so I hit them into my brick on my house and I get instant feedback because they slice they hook. They're very good for practicing.

Good for practicing but is harder than you would think. Pretty noisy if hitting walls inside and may disturb apartment neighbors

It is hard to believe an orange ball can be so hard to find. I am new to golf. I have an instructor who is high level, every ball he hits, be it a practice ball or real golf ball goes straight down the fairway. Incredible! So I have a practice fairway 74 yards long, 25 feet width. It is cut at 2 inches height. A flag is at one end, 64 yards from the tee. I practice using these Callaway soft sponge balls and Allmostgolf balls. The Allmostgolf when hit properly travel 60 some yards, click when hit using a 7 iron and ping when hit with a driver. The Callaway ball goes FOP! Yet performs just as the real ball would perform. A good solid swing produces a travel distance of 30 some yards. My rough is cut at 4 inches. Everything is hard to find when the ball lands in it regardless of color. So with such a short distance of travel, you would believe you will never loose a Callaway practice ball. Well I hit a drive the other day, I have no idea where that Callaway ball is?? These are good if you can overlook the sound when hit. 11Sept20, interesting, out of 12 balls, there are three that are much firmer than the other very soft one's. So out to my practice area to hit a few drives and 7 iron shots. As I have described before the soft balls go FOP when hit. But the firmer ball actually sounds much better, ping when hit with a driver. Click when hit with the 7 iron. Also a much better feel when the ball leaves the clubhead. I am beginning to like this Callaway practice ball.

This balls are a perfect imitation from a real ball. Its sturdiness is perfect, real size for home practice and you'll never broke any windows with them haha

I have several brand foam balls and these are firmer and fly truer. My 7 iron struck well on these makes them fly 50 yards. I have pounded away on these, hitting down compressing them and they have held up well.

I order these almost annually. My most recent order was disappointing. Some of the balls were more hard plastic than the squeezable soft ones I have used and enjoyed. They don't perform nearly as well. Hadn't experienced that inconsistency in the product previously.

Solid. Little expensive for only 9 balls but they work well. The crease (line around the ball) is much smaller then any other foam ball i've ever used. Quality dense foam.
