FloraBest Lopper
I thought the head of the loppers would be bigger. Otherwise, the extension of the handles is find and it cuts well, just thought the head would be bigger. It is a little hard to get onto the branches, but once on it does cut well.

Over Designed for A Simple Tool - Heavy Head with Weak Arm-Handles
Over Designed for A Simple Tool - Heavy Head with Weak Arm-HandlesPro:- reasonable price - got it for $14, with free shipping (same item else where, >$18)Con:- over designed blade opening, with gears that needs very strong human arms tooperate. never understand why it needs so many parts on a simple cutting bladehead.- its blade head is too too too heavy, you will get tired after 2 to 3 cuts. It is toocomplicate to operate, you need to perform multiple time for one cut.- the package I received has no English instructions (I don't read Spanish, Germanor French etc.)- extended arms are too weak, have a feeling it may break before the branch of atree is cut. Conclusion:The price is good, but the shears is not a user friendly one. Only the price portionin my case, may be worth the weight of the parts. Otherwise, I would rate this onestar. I will keep it to remind me not to buy something like this again - sorry seller(s),it is not your problem, but a problem of the company who made it.

Pruning shears
Sturdy construction and powerful cut. Price and delivery time were superb. The plastic protective pouch is ideal for hanging on a nail for storage. The only drawback is that I have not figured out how to cut a small twig without going through the whole series of five racheting steps: keep small hand shears with you for lighter cuts.

not good
I bought this last year for the small tree branches hanging down on our driveway, it was great for the first few but its like it got off track and wouldn't cut anything else.

This Lopper May Work
When it works, it is great; however, I had problems with it locking up the first time I used it seriously. After stopping work for the day, I examined it closely and I think I have uncovered and fixed the problem. There is a pin that can slide into the ratchet teeth that I believe was put there to give the capability to lock the unit up for storage and maybe for being a safety lock if there are inquisitive kids round (like my grandson). As purchased, this pin was free to slide and when the lopper was oriented in the right (really the wrong) position, the pin would drop into the teeth and lock it up. I fixed the problem by tightening the pin's nut so that it required force to get the pin into the teeth. There were negative comments about the handle locks that I would disregard. It is easy to extend the handles which is nice; however, because of the ease, you can unintentionally release the lock and the handle will be free to telescope in and out. This is no big deal, just reset the lock. Finally, I don't think any of these loppers will really cut a 2" branch. I'd say they work fine at around one inch or slightly larger.

Rubbish. Falls to bits after little use
Initially this lopper looked good but do not be fooled by its fancy name and its low price. The main bolt fell out on mine after only a few uses. Even though I managed to get a new bolt from the local hardware store the ratchet mechanism still would not work. So after only 3 months I had to bin it !! DO NOT BUY

it was wonderful! It did take some time
Once I figured out how to use this, it was wonderful! It did take some time, but, oh goodness, it cuts through some thick roots and branches!
