Trim Sleeper Pillow by Hudson

I might give these pillows 5 stars if they continue pleasing me. I have been on a pillow search for years really. I am mostly a back sleeper and this pillow allows me to maintain better posture if that can be a way to describe it. My neck is no longer a "C" shape when I lay on my back as it was with many pillows that are too firm like the foam ones or others that are just too fat and puffy. It has enough support for side sleeping also. I had been waking up with a crick in my neck and find that I now have relief from that. It is the best in my hunt so far.

Reading the dimensions for this pillow doesn't prepare you for the reality. This pillow really is thin and wide. That's what I was looking for and what I got. I'm not sure yet if it's what I needed, but it's exactly as advertised. As other reviewers have said, you will have trouble finding a cover (I found one at a hardware superstore of all places). It's comfortable for all it's trim size.

This pillow is very soft and fluffy with clumps of stuff inside that can separate and leave you with a gap. It is so soft that your head falls into a hole and the surrounding stuffing can puff up in front of your face. I was looking for a thin pillow with some structure, and this one is more like a cloud. It is not particularly thin and far too mushy for reading in bed.

I was able to get the pillow in a pillow case, but just barely (you have to squish it in a little). It seems dumb that they would make the pillow 2 inches too long and wide - are those extra 2 inches really necessary? It is one of the flatest pillows I've found, so if you are a stomach sleeper it is pretty good. But the stuffing inside moves around so there is now a divot where my head usually is.

Great pillow, very comfortable, hard to find a pillow this thickness. However, tried stuffing it into a couple of standard pillow cases, but it is too wide. Well, you can stuff it in, but then it bows in the middle. Not ideal. Currently using it naked. Anyone able to find a pillowcase that fits? Seems that one around 24" x 30" would be perfect, but I can't find any that are wider then the typical 20" or 21". There has to be something...

I bought this pillow back in 2012, I think, and I have loved it! It's of course getting a little older now, so I was hoping to get a fresh one. I balked at the price, but figured since it's going to last me another 6 years, it's worth it because it's such a great pillow. What a shame that this one came and it is literally 8.5" thick! Especially frustrating because the label still claims that it is 2" thick.Buyer beware, this is not the pillow you are looking for.

I have tried many pillows because I am a stomach sleeper and most pillows are too fat or thick for me . I tried a buckwheat pillow because you could at least shift the filling to create a space for your face but the buckwheat was too hard pressing against your face . Then I tried a SoftLux pillow with plastic balls that shifted - this was better than buckwheat but still too hard against your face . The Trim Sleeper Pillow is just right - it is thin enough and soft enough to feel just right for stomach sleepers !

I bought two of the Hudson Industries "trim sleeper pillows". My husband broke his neck, ten years ago, and has been complaining for years about not having a flat enough pillow. So, I bought one for him and then decided to buy one for me. After some adjustment to the firmness of the pillow, I find that I really like it. It is so nice to not feel smothered by my pillow. I find that I am going to sleep faster and sleeping better. My husband took a little longer to adjust to the difference, but now likes it too.
