I always winterized my window by applying the Window Insulator Kit from 3M. Those product works great. You can actually see wind blowing in from the gap and filled up your insulation firm. However, as year goes by, my window seal starts to wear out and I can feel the gap between my window and the frame. The foam tape is a great product to reapply the seal cheap. It is super easy to apply since you just peal the adhesive and cut to the size your wanted.Also, I bought this to put around the perimeter of my new apartment front door. It worked very well! I cleaned the area where I wanted to attach it and then I cut it to size and attached it around the entire perimeter of my front door. This material is very dense and blocks the sound very well. The adhesive on the material is very good as well, sticks well. This is important to me because I my apartment is right across from the stairwell and the elevator which bring a lot of foot traffic and noise!The front door is slightly harder to close, I have to give it an extra push when closing but it is not a big deal to be honest and it's well worth the sound dampening.Lastly, I used around some 6x9 speakers in my car to help bring the sound up to my door panels and it got the job done.I just want to say it can be used for multiple purposes as it is of great quality!

My husband reported this was the best weather stripping he has ever used! Ordering more to do another door.

Even though this is a very thin strip of foam, I was pleasantly surprised at the sticktivity that the adhesive has. That said, it will peel at the ends toward the end of the roll. Do note, however, that the adhesive becomes increasingly bonded to the surface over a day or so. I used this on a couple exterior-facing doors, and the adhesive formed a very good bond with the door jamb. At the end of the roll, I had to put a tack on the ends to get them to stay, though

It has a good adhesive on one side, however, the second side has fused to the window and I wil have to cut it open.Intended as a winter seal around the windward side window on the house. Initially, the window would still open but after a month it was stuck shut. Not recommended for one sided attachment.

Worked great in our slider and helped sealed the gap, little nervous how long the stick will last but so far so good.

The opposite of durable. Tears supper easy.

WOD SSFLDFT Closed Cell Sponge Rubber Foam Tape, 1/8 inch Thick, 1/4 inch x 75 ft: As convenient and effective as this tape is for home weather stripping - it only receives 2 stars from me for it's lack of common sense 'packaging.' Simply put it's a huge narrow floppy roll that easily becomes annoyingly unwound and difficult to handle or store. A flat cardboard sheet on 1 side attached at the center would resolve these problems and still keep the amount remaining, visible.

Worked well for my needs put it around my car door

Needed a cushion to soften the closure of a custom mahogany screen door. This tape was nice and narrow for a subtle look around the door frame. It arrived in one flat roll about the size of a dinner plate. It was easy enough to apply and looks great. It does work to soften the sound of the door closing which is most appreciated!

Adhesion was good and worked well. I cleaned the area first before application. Product seems durable and worked out perfectly.
