Choose Zensah, you'll never go wrong!
We've been using Zensah leg compression during our races and it never fails to provide support and recovery. This new iteration are thinner but the same quality from Zensah and now comes with fun designs ๐. Our old Zensahs still fits well and does not lose its compression and support, no damage as well, but will fade esp for bright colored ones. Just go for made in US Zensah and you'll never go wrong. Highly recommended! ๐๐

Step One Complete! They Fit Perfectly!
They Fit my 17.5 inch calves and they are comfortable and easy to put on. I ordered the L / XL : Large / X-Large. I was reluctant after getting a different brand that said they fit 17+ inch calves and didn't but after reading the reviews on this and others saying they were 5'8 tall and 17+ inch calves I figured I'd try and I am so glad I did. I am almost 5'9 tall and they fit.I like the style and the basic black. They are ribbed compression sleeves. They may look small when you pull them out of the package and you may be thinking "There is no way they are going to fit my calves" ... I know I was thinking the exact same thing but I tried them on and bang ... they fit. So don't trash talk them until you try them on.I've noticed while wearing them they seem to keep my calves warm yet cool and they feel light weight but have a bit of a sweater feel. They fit perfectly from my ankle to knee even though they seem deceivingly small when you pull them out of the package. Overall extremely comfortable. It seems to have a perfect amount of compression - I think any tighter would be too tight. Also, it fits perfect around my ankles and just below my knee. They are not too tight in those areas which my previous pair from a different maker was way too tight around the ankle ... these are perfect.I also injured my knee (ACL, LCL, Meniscus and got a dvt/blood clot) and had surgery last year ever since the accident & surgery my knee keeps swelling up but I've noticed since I've worn these leg sleeves my knee is not swelling as badly - very minimal if any. Awesome!I am using these to replace an old pair for a previous blood clot / DVT and to help with circulation from other illnesses.Highly Recommended especially if you have large calves which make it extremely hard to find a good pair that actually fits. Just do it ... buy it. Also currently these are the cheapest price on Amazon for a pair of Zensah sleeves. I paid $25.86 which is $15 off currently.

Shin Splints No More!
Highly recommend. I wear these for all my runs, hikes and even play basketball in them. And also those days your legs need some recovery assistance. I use to have issues with shin splints, tight calves, and cramping. Shin splints is no joke. After getting these sleeves I feel I recover faster and it minimizes calf and shin issues. The compression definitely helps! I've went through four pairs.Few of my activities: Half marathon 13.1 miles, Dozens of hikes (Half Dome, Pinnacles), and hundreds of minutes on the basketball court.Pro:Helps prevent shin splints and calf tightnessComfortable and breathable.Better than neoprene ones where sweat gets trappedKeeps legs warm on morning runsBetter than full compression socksPick your own socksEasy to put onCon:Eventually stitching becomes loose. Caused by 100+ times of pulling them up over your calfRather not have Zensah name so boldly branded on the top of the sleeve. Prefer plain and unbranded

A solid pair at a good price
I've been using these sleeves for 5 months now. I have them in a size small/medium for my 14" calves and they fit well. I have one other pair of compression sleeves, by Thirty48, to compare them to. I like those a bit more than these from Zensah because they offer a bit more compression than this pair. If your calves are a bit larger than mine, you'll probably like the compression these sleeves provide. The length is good - I'm 5'5" and they rise to right below my knee and I can pull them down to the ankle bone. After a couple hours of wear, I can feel the bottom seams digging in a bit, but by then it's time to take them off anyway.I've found that they help provide support and prevent shin splints during my high-impact workouts, and I think I have fewer calf cramps when I wear them for a while after I'm done exercising.

Compression sleeves
These are so much better than the socks. The socks hurt my feet and toes. I have not had any pain in my legs when I have them on. They are great!

These work!!!
I severly injured the shin muscles in my left leg in 2005 by being a stupid runner. Overuse with no rest days, not properly stretching, not replacing my shoes as I should...Physical therapy healed me as best as it could, but my shin would still bother me. I gave up running for good in 2008 and switched to "traditional machine" cardio (elliptical, rower, etc.) until last year, when I became tired of icing my leg every day and being in pain. Now I swim and usually don't have shin pain from my workouts. However, if I am on my feet for too long (I stand for a good portion of the day at my job) or go up and down hills or stairs (I lived on the third floor of my apartment building for the last two years; I moved to a ground floor unit two months ago) my shin let me know its displeasure.I actually had been in slight pain daily ever since the move (I packed most of my things myself and carried many items up and down the steps) and decided to try these sleeves. Even though it's usually only my left leg that bothers me, I figured wearing one on my right leg won't hurt anything.I've had them a week and WOW what a difference!! No more pain! I put them on after my swimming workout and wear them while I stretch, and then for the next half-hour as I drive home, put away my gym items, and drink my protein shake breakfast. I then put them back on again once I get to work.I've noticed, first and foremost, my leg doesn't hurt anymore! These have helped more than Advil and ice therapy. I haven't even needed Advil or my ice canister since I've been wearing these. On top of that, my legs feel fresher, and I seem to have more energy and more spring to my step. I bought a second pair so I can keep one in my gym bag and one in my work tote. They are very comfortable to wear, not hot or itchy at all. I barely even notice they are on. If anything, it feels like my legs are being gently massaged.I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and wear a size 6 pant, but I have muscular legs. According to the size chart, I was on the border between the x-small/small and the small/medium. I ordered both, and the small/medium size fit, whereas the x-small/small would barely go over my foot and ankle. If you have muscular legs or are on the border between sizes, I would encourage you to go up a size.If you have any type of shin pain, I highly recommend these! I wish I had discovered them in 2005. They could have saved me years of pain!

Very Surprised By How Effective They Are
Surprised me. I had been suffering from calf pressure and discomfort so got these. At first I wanted them to be tighter. But as I wore them the level of compression provided was spot on. You know a product like this is working when you forget to put it back on or you put it asside because the pain is gone. That's how it's been for me. After a day of wear I ended up not wearing them the next day due to no pain felt. Now I'm consciously and habitually wearing them to continue the therapeutic effects. Great piece of gear.

Best thing I've discovered for my shins
Long story short:These calf/shin sleeves are amazing!! They pretty much relieve the aches and pains I have in my shin whenever I jog/run. Although they haven't necessarily cured me of the shin splints, I won't run without these! With them on, I have been able to work out longer and with more intensity than I did without them when I felt the pain. I used to have really bad shin splints - definitely the kind you know you shouldn't run through. I felt like I tried almost everything, except for taping my shin. But who wants to do that every time? It's so tedious! Then I found these and they were the perfect solution. The fit is great-you'll barely feel like you're wearing anything. I have bigger calves and went with the large and they aren't too loose or too restricting. They feel perfectly sized with just enough stretch. The price is great too. Great value for the money!!The long story:I discovered them online while searching for new running shoes. A year prior I had shin splints so bad that even just walking would hurt. I tried therapy on my shins and even got orthotic insoles (that were SUPER expensive at about $350 a pair) to try to alleviate the pain. I'm flat footed so it probably adds to the stress...so I got fitted for new shoes; it all helped but not to the point where I could jog more than a quarter of a mile before the intense pain would come back. I stopped running/jogging for half a year and the pain finally went away, but as soon as I got back to exercising again, they started hurting a lot. It's definitely been better than a year before, but on a treadmill, if I was going more than a 4.5 speed (more like a speed walk or super slow jogging speed) it was already feeling too fast. The weekend I got these sleeves, I tried them on and went on the treadmill for some interval training. I was amazed to reach 6.0, then 7.0, and then 8.0 in the same day on the treadmill. It wasn't for very long (give or take a minute) but literally just a few days before that I couldn't even go past 4.5 without cringing in pain!! It was like magic! I've been a believer in compression sleeves ever since then.I HIGHLY recommend these to anyone who has any calf or shin issues. But for people without it too it will even help with post workout recovery or even if your legs are constantly tired from a long day of standing/walking.

The best brand of compression sleeves
Comfortable, effective, don't rub, and wash up well. By far the best calf sleeves I've bought - worth every penny and have seen me through some gruelling ultras. Really recommend!

but enough to take the edge off my enjoyment. I found immediate benefit from the leg sleeves ...
Exceeded all my expectations. Since taking up running again 18 months ago after a break of many years, I suffered from continual calf aches - not enough to prevent me from running, but enough to take the edge off my enjoyment. I found immediate benefit from the leg sleeves with aches whilst running being reduced by about 90% from first wearing and aches when walking almost entirely gone. Now after three weeks wearing I feel much more confident in my running and my training times have improved as a result. A brilliant product!
