KM466 Big Mouth Heater

I purchased the hot and gold set last year with the irons, combs and heater and was disappointed in the heater! The heater did not get hot enough to straighten my hair or heat the way it was supposed to. I purchased this one and it works GREAT! I highly recommend this one. It heats up immediatedly and stays hot the entire time while in use. Caution * the base also gets hot because of the metal so use with care.

This little marvel works like a charm. It has a wonderfully wide mouth to put several irons at a time and it heats up exceptionally quick not to mention extremely hot. I love Kentucky maid products because they always deliver quality items for great results (do bare in mind that also depends on how you handle them)

I just opened the product that I received from 2018 today. It will not turn on. I received a defective product. The box it was shipped in looked like I received a used product or maybe the seller knew the product was defective when it was sent.. I will reach out to seller to see if they will replace the object while I return the original one.

The smell this iron gives off is scary. I cannot used and feel comfortable using in my apartment with my two year old. Other than the chemical odor the stove works just fine.

This is the best gadget I ever invested in and it works, it actually works!The price for it was a much better deal than the humongous one I purchased at Kizure. The price was great butI was looking for a small heater for home use and not a gigantic one for a salon. Plus I did not like the fact that you had to worry about replacing the fuse if there were problems. With this small heater all you have to do is just plug it in and you are all ready to do your business. I love it, love it, love it.!

Did my research & got what I expected. Wide mouth was perfect for 2+ hot combs! Excellent product!

Pros:It heats up quickly. The base is heavy enough to keep the heater in place when using appliances with it. The heater is also small enough to sit on my bathroom counter.Cons:I could not finish my hair because the heater smokes and gives off a horrible smell. Not the odor of burning hair but a chemical smell which irritated my throat and nose something awful. I had my bathroom door closed to confine the odor, and I also had the window open, fan running, and vent going, which was a minimal help. The odor lasted for the rest of the day. This product is made in China, so who knows what chemicals are used in the manufacturing of this heater.
