It is sturdy with an excellent paint job
My two year old granddaughter loves the piano and plays it every day according to parents. It is sturdy with an excellent paint job. The piano is a toy piano that sounds "like a toy piano". Sound is fine, do not expect it to sound like an adult piano. The keys are the regular size found on adult piano. This feature will make it easy to transfer to adult piano when old enough.

This piano is very cute and well made. My toddlers have been pounding away at it for the last year and it shows few signs of wear.

It is a toy!
If you are buying this as a professional instrument you may be highly disappointed, but as a toy it is amazing! Don't get me wrong you can play a good tune on this, but don't expect all the keys to be tuned to perfection. My 2 year old son loves it!

An Excellent heirloom toy.
After reading some of the negative reviews I ordered this early so that I could examine its condition before gifting it.Excellent condition, all the keys functioned and the instrument was properly tuned though the key action was a bit loud though it's not going to irritate a 20 month old child. The heavy construction reminds me of toys from the 1950's, heirloom quality, and I felt delight in seeing the 'No Batteries Required' notice on the box.I was very happy with it and my grand-nephew and his parents were delighted.

Grandkids approved
I bought one of these a year ago for my grandson. I loved it so much I recently purchased one for my granddaughter. They both love playing this piano. It sounds great for a toy and stands up to toddler abuse daily. I will continue to buy these for all my grandchildren

I have a happy grandchild!
This piano was the perfect size for my two-year-old grandson. He is not yet old enough to take advantage of all its features, but he will grow into it. The sturdiness and sound are great for him now, and he enjoys it every day. The height and weight are perfect. I could not be more pleased!

Cheaply made and not worth the money
I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday in July of 2017. I was super excited, because I had something similar when I was growing up. It was delivered in a single box already assembled except for the stool. When I pulled it out of the box, it didn't seem very sturdy, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I assembled the stool according to the directions and gave it to my son for his birthday. In all honesty, it was one of those gifts that parent gets really excited about, but the kid could take it or leave it. It sat in the corner of the playroom and occasionally was played when it caught the kid's attention. More often then not, it just sat there. The screws were easily grasped by my toddler, and he could take them out of the piano or bench with ease and put them in his mouth. The piano bench fell apart and was beyond repair a few months after the purchase.Occasionally screws from the actual piano would come loose and fall out, I would put them back in as best as I could. Until today, 2/25/2019, just 1 1/2 years after the original purchase. I left the playroom for less than 2 minutes and my now 3 1/2 year old was crying because his piano was broken. I thought a screw had just fallen out again, so imagine my absolute shock when I walked into the room and the piano had literally collapsed.Beyond disappointed this purchase. Save your money and get something else. Absolutely not worth it.
