So these socks are a disappointment.
OK as far as compression goes. Sizing is off. The socks are way too long. I do not have short legs. I took a picture of these socks next to another brand of compression socks. This brand is 15 inches from heel to the top of the sock. The other brand is 12 inches heel to top of sock. Both socks are a size small/medium. The foot part is too large for my foot. The foot bed is 7 inches as compared to 5.5 inches for the other brand. I suspect that I did not get the right size or these socks are just too large in sizing. I don't think you are supposed to fold compression socks over themselves. That could obstruct blood flow or cause a varicose vein. So these socks are a disappointment.

The firm compression is great
maybe they aren't "small", but they are tight, which is the point, I guess. If you have large size calves you might want to think about that instead of shoe size. I wear size 14 pants and size 8 shoes and this S size seems fine. They go on with some tugging, wearing some kind of gloves like tiny knit winter gloves helped. The texture of the socks is closer to a tiny knit glove than a soft, daily sock but it is holding you all together. Taking them off is best by just pulling them off inside out. But after a day of wearing these, my often aching calves stayed pain free. If you have pain or weakness in your hands, these might not be the right socks for you as putting them on and taking them off is an exercise routine.

socks score me...zero kicked my butt just getting one on.
Very well made just a bit too hard to get on my feet. got one on took 5 minutes. look at my right foot and decided they were just to darn hard to get on to be of any therapeutic use. putting your back out to get these on kind of nullifies the benefit. also worth noting, I got the xlarge, which is the biggest they had.

Wish I had bought these months ago!!
In Brief: Fabulous product. It Visibly reduced swelling in my ankles and feet at the end of Day 1, better at end of Day 2, still better on Day 3! Watch I felt like I was sliding inside my shoe, this was way more than with knee highs, hose, or other “sheer type sock.” Yes, the top of the leg band cut into the area behind my knees and I still felt that discomfort the next day.. I am just 5 ft 2 in tall. (Other brands did not do that, so I agree with other complaints...I detracted a star for that.)Long Comment: Admittedly, these graduated compression socks are just one part of my total effort to address the problem with my sometimes painful edema (I.e., drink a 50oz bottle of spring water during my work day, reduce sodium intake including switching from canned to frozen veggies... adding a bare minimum of 8,000 steps a day.. etc ). I was getting results without the compression socks but in just three days of wearing these socks there was such a visible difference that I’ve got to give them a huge amount of credit! My legs also feel less fatigued at the end of the day. I actually ran and caught the commuter train yesterday. After 3 days, I can actually see veins in my feet that I had not seen since March (3 months). Of course I am working with my physicians office and got approval to wear these. Very important, wearing compression socks was my idea not my medical team’s. My physician and the nurse Practitioner both warned me against sleeping in compression socks at night! Apparently they create a very serious risk of cutting off your circulation when you’re in a horizontal position. I don’t understand all the science but I clearly understood their warning and highly respect their advice!Yes, these are difficult to put on so Be sure to allow extra time with your first few attempts. If you have arthritis or other issues like lower back pain, it will be a frustrating challenge. My other pains come and go, so it varies daily. The reduced swelling result has made it worth the frustration for me. There were no instructions or suggestions on how to put these on. But the TruForm brand did have instructions and that help to me. Roll them down to be inside out to put the toes in, then roll up The heel, and roll the rest the way up. After that they are easier to put on.I purchased 8 pairs of compression socks different of brands to get different colors and so I don’t have to be washing a pair out each night. Some pairs are very colorful. Some brands are better than others.I subtracted 1 Star from these because as others said, they are a little too long. The top of the band pinched in the back of my knee area. These fit best in the foot and ankle area for me. So far the TruForm Medical Compression socks, 20-30 Hg- Below the Knee.... are best comfort at a 4.5 stars. No pinching behind my knee.So far both brands slip a bit inside my shoes. Even sneakers, so be prepared to tie your shoes more securely than normal.

Not too terrible but I wouldn’t buy again
These compression socks work well for graduated compression and help with some aching I have after an 8 hour nursing shift. However, the material is not very comfortable, and the seems leave marks on your skin. Some areas were bad enough that by the time I got home from work I was happier to take them off than say my compression socks from Duluth Trading co. In the future I’ll probably just stick with the slightly more expensive brand.

GREAT SOCKS!
These socks are great! I needed some compression socks to help in recovery from an ankle surgery, so I figured that if I needed to wear compression socks they might at least be fun (and cute looking)! These fit the bill!!! They are very comfortable. My feet do not get sweaty when wearing these, even after wearing them all day! They have definitely helped to control ankle swelling and have pleasantly provided additional support for my currently weak ankle. I liked them so much that I even ordered additional styles - honey bees, puppies, etc. All styles have been comfortable and effective for my needs. I typically wear an 8 1/2 M in shoes and ordered the L/XL size. Be sure to actually measure the size of your calf when selecting your sock size. I found the sizing guide to be very accurate! The cute styles of these socks have helped me to not feel like such an "old lady" (not that there's anything wrong with that - as we will all be there one day LOL)! My doctor also told me that these kinds of socks are great for people of ALL ages who are walkers and runners. These sock help improve circulation and prevent swelling in your feet, ankles, and legs from injury recovery/healing and the creation of uric acid in your muscles from exercise. Also, these are great socks to wear on airplanes to prevent lower leg blood clots. It may sound trite but my legs really DO feel great at the end of a day after wearing these REALLY CUTE (and great) SOCKS!

Highly recommend
I am an operating theatre nurse and suffer from calf swelling as I spend every day standing for long periods. Compression socks stop the swelling and aching. I find these socks supportive & comfortable. I have used compression tights in the past but they give me athletes foot, these socks keep my feet comfortable and no sweating even on a 12 hr shift. I love the bright fun colours and some of my colleagues have asked where to buy them. I am 5’11” tall and have size 8 shoe so I buy the XL and they come up to just below my knee. I’m about to buy another pair so I will make 5 pairs. One for every day of the week 😃

Long lasting and fun
These have stood the test of time and have had a lot of wear (mountain biking). They're a bit favourite and are a bit more interesting and fun than the average. Good helpful, but not too intense compression. Would recommend.

Awful!
First time I ordered compression socks, so I don't know if it's just me but these socks are so tight! I have a medical condition and thought they would help, but instead I tried to get them on and exhausted myself. They literally would NOT go past my toe area on my foot.

Perfect and fun!
These are great! I used these instead of hideous nude compression socks. I was pregnant on a 11 hour flight and I did not swell a single bit.

Very disappointing
Despite the fact that it was impossible to find out the size of these socks before ordering, when they arrived they were a perfect fit for my size 39 feet. However they are impossible to get on, despite much tugging and pulling. They look lovely but now that I've tried to get them on I'm afraid will have to go straight in the bin.
