I occasionally find myself walking around with a pair of scissors to help cut the wrapper when someone is struggling. Not a deal breaker at all, just something to know. The meltability, freshness, variety, and sturdiness are all too for this candy. They are colorful and come in unique and yummy flavors that kiddos love. Affordable, fun, a little educational, and always a hit with my students. Perfect for the classroom.

Perfect size, amazing flavor, great value!

I have been a huge fan of Chupa Chups lollipops since I was a kid, so I was beyond excited when I found out about the mini versions. Some of the reviews said the flavors are not evenly mixed in the bag so upon receiving, I sorted the flavors just to see. I like all the flavors, so the uneven distribution didn't really make much of a difference. I got the most Strawberry and Creme and Orange and the least Chocolate and Creme, this was actually in my favor, as Strawberry slightly wins over the rest of the flavors for me. Actually wish there was even more variety in the mix like Cola, Green Apple, Lemon, and Watermelon. Now, onto the taste. I didn't really think that this would be a problem but the minis do taste different from the original size Chupa Chups. I was quite disappointed to open the Strawberry one and didn't find the beautiful double color of half transparent clear an half transparent pink that is signature to the original size Chupa Chups candy. It was just one pink color (that is different from the original pink color) and made it feel like just any plain lollipop. The taste is also different from the original size which was surprising, not sure if the duel color played a role? Out of all the flavors, Strawberry and Cherry taste the most different, while the Cremosa ones are almost the same and Orange being only slightly different. The taste is not "bad" it's just not the same, but not to say you won't know what flavor you are having. The Cremosa ones are the only ones with double color (half white and half pink (strawberry) / half brown (chocolate), note the color is also darker than the original size. I have also just had some original size Chupa Chups, so this is not based on memory of years ago, the taste difference is real. Some have mentioned that the wrapper is hard to remove, which was not a huge surprise, as the original ones are even harder to remove. We call this child-proof at home, and I don't have much issues with it as it keeps the candy fresh. (tip: use scissors and cut above the wrapped part and peel off) Since there was so many in the bag, I actually ended up making candy boutique for some graduation. This makes great gifts, as it's also fun to add in goodie bags. Overall for the price it's great value. However because of the flavor difference, I might not buy the mini ones again.

These are really yummy! Bag is huge, bigger than I expected. As far as folks saying it is hard to get the wrapper off. I can see why they say that if you just try to unravel it. If you grab the two blue ends at the bottom of the wrapper and pull them in opposite directions it comes off really easily. I think that is why the blue marks are there.
