Healthwise Zero Net Carb Low Carb Bread Rye

This item was a dissappointment all around! Very expensive and the taste was just awful! Spongy would be one word. You would be better off with a conventional 100 calorie bread item. In addition to tasting awful it molded very quickly despite refrigeration ( I now know it must go in the freezer- I just happen to not like frozen bread). The mold was unlike anything I had ever seen (really gross!) and I ended up tossing the loaf sans the 2 pieces I gagged down. Waste of money.

This bread actually has zero net carbs and is still wonderful. It is not as sinfully delicious as "real" bread but it comes very close to it. I am amazed. This is the only bread of it's kind (zero carbs net) on the market that I know of and I've done enough searching. Not even Atkins products have a bread like this. Thank you so much for saving my diet!! The bread was shipped by USPS and arrived in superb condition. Of course, I purchased it at Amazon.

I'm always looking for a good low carb replacement for bread, this tastes like Rye but the texture is more like angel food cake. Makes OK toast though.

This bread is tough and rubbery. Maybe that's what you get when you go net zero, but there are low - not zero, but low - carb breads that taste pretty good.

This was terrible do not order, there was nothing I could do to make it taste better, I threw it away

I actually thought that I tasted pretty good. The texture was fine. I'm not expecting a rich filling bread because that is not what this is.If you want something that you can make a nice sandwich with or a peanut butter and low sugar jelly then this will do nicely. It was notdry at all. If you don't eat it all right away, keep it in the fridge. I was not disappointed and have bought it several times.
