Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I ordered it on Saturday morning and it was delivered 24 hours later, even though I selected free delivery.This is a terrific bargain at £20, and I would almost have happily paid the original posted price of nearly £70This is a genuine leather case, into which the ipad 2 fits very snugly. It has a magnetic tab that serves to hold it closed, and to automatically switch off and on when the case is closed or opened.When the case is opened, the tab can be held out of the way with the help of a second internal magnetThe exterior is smooth, chocolate-coloured leather, tastefully embossed with the "Pupil" logo. Word is that the cover will acquire patina this over time, eventually to resemble a well-used leather-bound book. Suits me.The case sports a removable tab in the shape of a miniature pelt, to convey the "genuine leather" theme.The only slight issue is that access to the lock/unlock button is a shade tight.The interior boasts a dark brown suede finish, and three stitched-in leather bands, to hold the device at three different reading angles.All in all, a very satisfactory purchase.

I bought the coco brown cover for the ipad3. It is really smart, well stitched and looks like it will protect the device better than my previous (smart style) covers, which both fell apart when less than a year old. Anyway, this one holds the ipad pretty firmly, although it is not quite centred (hence 4 stars) possibly because the tab that tucks behind the pad doesn't use Velcro.The closure tab is magnetic so it stays behind the ipad for viewing. The autosleep function works too.Overall a high quality case, and the dark brown looks different to the usual black ones most people have.Would definitely recommend

Beautiful product, well made except for a slight design flaw. The flap does not hold the iPad in the sleeve allowing it to slip causing the camera lense to be unusable for FaceTime. Once I can source some sticky velcrose "dots" to hold the flap in place the product will be perfect and I am certain outlast the iPad. A well made and lovely looking case cover.

I bought this as an anniversary present for my husband to keep his iPad 3 in. It arrived beautifully packaged but had a scratch on the clasp and a long wrinkle on the back where the leather hadn't been laid correctly. The biggest problem (and my reason for returning it) is that the hole for the front facing camera is too small and on a surface that won't sit flush to the iPad. As such, it partially obscures the view when using the FaceTime feature. I saw that this was a problem for some reviewers but thought that PUPiL had had plenty of time to sort it out and was swayed a bit by the high number of very happy reviewers - who I'm guessing we're either lucky or don't really use their devices to FaceTime people so much. We're both really disappointed. I'm looking at other brands for a replacement case.

I saw the PUPiL case at Amazons bargain price reduced from £59, then I noticed an independent Amazon seller had one listed at £11, £11 for a full leather case of this quality, BARGAIN! Of course I grabbed it quickly. Two days later my case arrived, I chose the lovely coco brown leather, I was not disappointed, the quality is fantastic, the leather is beautiful with the distinctive "real leather" aroma, the overall size is very deceptive, on first opening the box, the case looked way too small and I thought an iPad mini case had been sent by mistake! it is a lovely snug fit all round, all the cutouts line up correctly. Being leather this will only get better with age. Reccomend.

Very impressed with the quality of this case, even more so considering the excellent price I paid. I don't like most of the plasticky cases available in the shops and also think they are very expensive for what they are. This case however is very reasonably priced and looks extremely smart and businesslike in the brown leather. Well made it firs my iPad 2 perfectly, protects it well and with it's magnetic closure and auto off feature is very convenient. If you want a smart business like case for for iPad then this is the case to have.

I was very disappointed with this cover . It smelt so strongly of plastic that it effected my asthma ! I returned this item and was given a prompt refund . I gave it two stars as it was a lot stronger than most covers but it didn't hold my iPad very well and it slipped down nearly covering the home button and camera aperture .
