The light is bright and well focused!
I bought this light to convert my 2006 Sv650 to a LED headlight and it is a perfect fit and conversion. The light pierces the night and makes it so easy to see when riding through the darkest of areas. Way better then just replacing the bulb with an led bulb which doesn't work well due to the inability to focus the light from the LED bulb correctly. You also maintain high beam function! The best thing is that it's just plug and play.

If get this checked you clear shell is solid stick to the headlight
I 3d print a bracket to install it on my bike but the clear shell fall while I was riding

Great for Motorcycle use
Really get what you pay for here. Light worked great, incredibly bright, clear, and didn’t have an issue over heating. Light worked for about a year but then burnt out, so definitely did not work as longer as I’d hoped.

Much brighter than standard halogen
I was trying to install it to my motorcycle but it didn't fit, but when I bench tested it the low beam had nice cutoff line and high beam also engages low beam for maximum light output.

Look good on classic VWs
So far so good. Dont know how long they will last, just installed today but they look great on my 1969 VW type 3 squareback. Vws accept any standard 7 inch headlight, and I wanted led without being too "futuristic" looking. These fit the bill perfectly. Will check them out in the dark later but so far pleased with the results.

Might be great for you. I didnt like the light pattern.
The light is bright but the pattern doesnt work for me in pitch dark went back to the stock light housing with a LED bulb.

Defective manufacturing
Beware, the required mounting tabs (3) on back of the light housing are misaligned so when the LED bulb is mounted into the mating tab holes in the light bucket the buld beam/reflector is pointing in the wrong direction. This makes the bulb totally usable/unstallable. The beam pattern is pointing 90 degrees off. The keyed tabs only allows the installion in one orientation so turning the bulb is not possible!!!!! Baaically the buld was glued together in the wrong orientation from the manufacturer.
