Canon EOS 77D Digital Camera Body (Renewed)

Wireless tethering via the Canon app.... amazing! 45 AF points... better than amazing! This was an upgrade for me from a previous Canon EOS... and it was a nice upgrade. I’m very happy. I shoot in Manual, in RAW... and I love it. The touchscreen makes changing settings even easier. It’s a great camera for when you want to advance beyond amateur, but aren’t ready for a $3000 pro camera yet. Just as easy to use as my old Canon, and maybe a little easier. I don’t really use the video function, but I still figured it out in about 5 minutes. The onboard microphone isn’t great... at all. But I don’t do video, so it doesn’t bother me. The one thing... I’m almost certain that this “renewed” camera, is in fact a brand new European version. You can’t register it with Canon, because it is not meant for sale in the US. But I’m not complaining at all... brand new European version vs renewed with unknown shutter count? Sure, I’ll take the new camera with the English accent please.

This camera is loaded with options and I am still learning. It came with the manual and battery and battery charger. The battery lasts a long time. The pictures are fine so far and I feel like this camera will serve my purposes for many years hopefully. I already had lenses that came from the T5i I had so just getting the body with the slightly different battery worked for me. I consider myself an intermediate level photographer and for me this is a cost effective solution.

Awesome camera. Gets me great shots with a 50m and 10-18m. Video looks phenomenal as well but you’re not getting 4k with it.

Great cameras but they are meant for beginning shutterbugs only. They are basically Canon Rebels with a rear dial (not very substantial), if you always shoot in auto-pilot mode these will serve you well plus the wifi works like magic. The picture quality is fantastic and 24 megapixels is way more than you need. Not the kind of cameras for me since I need to have control over many parameters quickly. I thought it was closer to the mid-range cameras but the reality is it's closer to the beginner cameras. The price is right at least, now since people are flocking to mirrorless (I like mirroless too) these are really really good deal. Even if you are a pro, buy it as a backup.

While I'm not yet knowledgeable enough to write a review or give an opinion on this camera i can say that you should check out some of the reviews. There are other DLSR's in this price range that are better at certain things but as a do it all camera, you will be hard pressed to find anything better. As for the seller, the camera was shipped on time and it was everything the description described it as. It was missing the registration card, typical for grey market cameras which you do not want ! I did speak with Canon directly to verify that this was a U.S version and not only was it, it had an additional warranty from Canon ! I don't know if that's the case with all the refurbished cameras from this seller or from canon but it did add a nice piece of mind when i found out.

I love it! Saved me a lot of money and works and looks like new! Big difference between 3 fps and 7.

Purchased a renewed model. The touch screen is either too sensitive or slightly defective. Have to turn off the touch screen function to make use of the camera. This limits the ability to quickly change some settings. Also eliminates the touch to focus ability.
