Silliest idea ever; it's functionally useless.
Anyone who trusts a credit card or bank card or a wad of money to this flimsy piece of stretchy elastic is a fool, IMHO. Oh sure, there's that, "Oh-look-at-me...I-am-so-cool...I-keep-my-money-in-this-tiny-weeny-elastic-rubber-band-with-it-all-sticking-out-the-sides," "cool" factor, fine, but just think how UNcool your face is going to look to everyone when you realize that your money and credit cards (what's this pretentious crap about calling them "loyalty" cards?) have been dropping out of your "minimalist" rubberband-of-a-wallet all over the club. Its functionally useless. There was even the suggestion you use this thing to hold your cell phone...Whaaa?! You ram your phone into this thing -- which it twice the width of that silly elastic band -- for any length of time, and you'll stretch it out so badly it soon won't hold anything else. Sorry, I found it totally useless as a wallet and actually, I thought that even the manufacturer knows it. I guess they just hope their "cool" factor marketing ploy will blind those who want to be appear chic by being labeled "minimalists" and they'll be like lemmings drinking KoolAid. You want to know how insecure this little piece of elastic is for holding anything that is of value? Just ask yourself, did the purchase come with ANY mention of SECURITY...or THEFT-PROOF? You want to stuff a few hundred dollar bills into this thing...have at it.

Perfect for a bicycle commuter
I recently ordered the Crabby Gear Men's v2 wallet after losing my longtime no frills leather relic wallet that I bought in college eight years ago because I thought it looked nice. But things have since changed--I moved the city, I sold my car, and I live a lifestyle that is powered by my legs. I have worked hard to reduce my form factor and the weight of my possessions to help me live a better life. This wallet fits the bill perfectly.First of all, it's very small and light. The two pocket setup is stitched from a soft and somewhat elastic material. It is just wide enough to fit several cards. I believe they advertise up to 10, though I'm not sure why you would want to carry that many cards if you can help it. For my day to day life, it keeps my debit card, drivers license, and zip card snugly in its crabby embrace. The thing that sets this wallet apart from many other minimalist wallets that I looked at is the elastic band that wraps around the wallet to hold everything in. While it isn't completely necessary, it gives one piece of mind to know that whatever you put in the pockets aren't going anywhere. Although you can't really tell from other pictures, the band is sewn into the wallet so there is no danger of losing it.On the inside of the band loop is a small strip of soft rubber coating that helps to keep anything else you slip underneath of it (keys, cash, tickets, etc) in place. Some reviews have mentioned that this will eventually wear out and come off. If that's the case I see no indication of it yet as the coating feels pretty secure. Either way, it's all gravy because I don't think the rubber coating is necessary. It's just an added bonus.Lastly, my favorite feature is the key loop. I absolutely hate carrying keys. I don't like how they feel in my pocket, or how they jingle, or how I always forget them. This loop solves all of those problems with aplomb! Simply tuck the keys into the elastic band once you've looped them on and they hug the wallet such that I never notice them in my pocket at all. Thankfully, although the loop cord is thin and uses a very small keychain assembly, I tested it with some forceful tugs and it feels very strong. That's really all there is to say. If you want a minimalist wallet that can accommodate keys and keep your form factor slim and comfortable, this may just be for you. The quality is on point and the construction is solid. Some have noted that it is a little awkward to carry cash since you have to fold it up into quarters, but this is likely not something that will slow you down or bother you once you actually put it into practice. The crabby gear men's v2 (it's totally fine for anyone regardless of gender btw) wallet is a cute and quality space saver that feels comfortable and holds everything you really need for your day to day living.

I like it, but there are definitely some compromises to ...
I've been using this for about a week. I like it, but there are definitely some compromises to be made when switching to a minimalist wallet.I can't imagine trying to shove 10 cards in this thing. I have four and some cash and it's REALLY tight.I like the keychain loop on the side of the wallet. It was one of the main reasons why I picked this wallet over other minimalist wallets. Unfortunately, having more than a key and maybe one or two loyalty cards on the strap means that it doesn't stay tucked under the perpendicular strap--which means that it gets caught in my pockets more often than not. I'm willing to go with fewer loyalty cards, but I want to have them handy, and we're back to my initial point--having a bunch of cards in this wallet just doesn't seem feasible. Also, I miss the ability to have a few coins handy.I'll use this until it falls apart, then keep looking for the perfect wallet (for me)...

Holding up well after 5 months heavy use
After 5 months use, I can say that I like this even more than I thought. It has held up well through daily use. I typically have 5 or 6 cards, and a few bills. I've also attached a Tile Mate Bluetooth tracker to this wallet, just in case. I'm now able to travel much lighter than before. I travel internationally 4 or 5 times a year, and getting through airports, security, etc... is now easier. Also, I hang this wallet with my car key in the same place, making it easier to keep track of things. Great concept, and well executed. I was worried that the band would break down over time, but so far, no signs of trouble.

[update] Defective and Customer Support Unhelpful (was: definitely a great minimalist wallet)
[Update - 6 months later] So, one of the selling points of this wallet is that it has a silicone strap attached to the elastic band that keeps the cards in place. I sent an email to Customer Support and their response was... "We have a 60 day money back guarantee on our products. Unfortunately you are out of that timeline. The silicone strip has worn off on mine as well and I haven't had any problems with it slipping off and cards falling out. Are you seeing that happen? We have been working to remedy the problem but haven't found a solution yet. "I am not impressed, while the elastic doesn't slip off, the silicone strip made things more secure. Stop billing the silicone strap as a feature when it doesn't work. Downgraded from 5 stars to 1 star based on customer service response by Ashlyn B. and defectiveness of product. Was questioning how much this holds... definitely a great minimalist wallet.

Husband's fav wallet
Bought as a Christmas present for my husband, he loves this wallet and needed a new one as his previous one (which he has had for a while) was loading the grip on the elastic.

Nice Small Solution
Great little wallet. Fits in front pocket, so compact you forget it is there.Dont get too excited about the key holder, mine has broken with 12 hours of having it, didn't buy it for that but if you are then you will be disappointed.Wallet great, accessory very poor.

Good Wallet
So far it's been great. I read many good reviews on amazon.com so I decided to give this minimalist wallet a try.I don't want to carry the wallet and my keys separately so this is perfect for that need.I used the Chums Keychain Wallet before but the zipper of that wallet broke after a few months so hopefully this one lasts longer than that.Material-wise this shouldn't cost $25 but you are paying for the well-thought-out design.
