Alan Silverwood 4" Pork Pie Mould

I have now used this mould and was really pleased with it. Being as I have never cooked a pork pie before I was a bit worried that I hadn't greased it enough. I hadn't but now I know to give it a really good greasing. But once I had loosened it, which didn't take 2 minuets, it slid out and it has cleaned very easily. Very pleased with it.

Excellent piece of equipment. We now have two of these and we find them far easier to use than the traditional wooden pork pie dolly that we also invested in. Make sure your grease the tin with lard or a similar fat and between the precaution and the clever loose bottom, raised pie making becomes a little less effortless.

Used to make Christmas cakes in shape of postbox (2 cakes in each). Brilliant and did not stick!

Fantastic little tins! I bought these to bake small personal fruit cakes in them for Christmas hampers and they are fab, great non-stick sides and the loose bases are very handy for getting the cakes out in one piece! I am looking forward to trying out pies in these too, once I get a minute to myself after Christmas!

Pies produced had very good colour were cooked evenly and did not stick to the mould.

Have been looking for this size,though not fancy it is ideal for my needs.

Well made, reliable, perfect for a small cake. Tin heats up evenly. Cakes always turn out well baked. Easy to clean.
