Philips Daily Collection Kettle, Metal, Spring Lid, Light Indicator, 1.7 L, Silver (HD9350/92)

Bought this for my parents as their old kettle was leaking. The good thing about this is that the water level indicator is under the handle, which means it doesn’t knock into taps etc (which I imagine is a major cause of leaks). It did blow a fuse early on, but I don’t think that’s necessarily the manufacturer’s fault.

Doesn't spill like my last kettle when you pour, but as pourer is larger, and nice, I'm wondering if this costs more on electric? You can't win on every count! Very happy with the product

This Is a FULL SIZE kettle Holds over one and a half Litres OF WATER (Description is most unhelpful with two conflicting capacitys) Looks Great Good guide for fill level (although visible min is 3 cups) Boils Quickly Easy to fill (wide spout and lid) DOES NOT DRIP - GREAT POURER Seems a little noisy but may settle in? Overall, very pleased - apart from having to fit a UK plug

Kettle arrived with Spanish plug fitting not suitable for the UK I was then charged to return item even though prime member

Kettle looks nice but has the wrong plug Has a 2 pin Euro Plug instead of 3 pin UK plug Sent it back for a refund

For a kettle you can say it is overpriced but the joy of having a good looking kettle with a large capacity also being and is easy to clean this is a fair price. It does not have a plastic outer which means you don’t have the aging effect of heat on plastic and all the “touch point” on the kettle is great. I thought I would regret buying this but frankly it was a good purchase and looks like it will last a very long time.

Producto de buena calidad, tanto en materiales como en funcionalidad. La capacidad de 1.7L es perfecta para el uso diario, y calienta el agua muy rápido. La tapa con resorte es cómoda y evita salpicaduras al abrir, y el indicador luminoso es un detalle útil para saber cuándo está en funcionamiento. La base con giro de 360° lo hace muy práctico, sobre todo si varias personas lo usan desde distintos ángulos. Muy satisfecho con la compra.
