Manuscript Handwriting Homework Helper, Grade 2

I have a 12 year old with REALLY bad handwriting. I felt like he should practice over his summer vacation, but I didn’t know what workbook would help him. After doing some research, I bought this one. I felt like it was more advanced than the others I’ve seen. I felt like it would help engage him and help him learn how to write better. His letters look like other letters so people get confused as to what word he’s trying to write. Sometimes his stuff is marked wrong because no one knows what he’s trying to write. I felt like this would help him best. It’s well written and teaches him basic and extra handwriting skills. Its 56 pages long. It’s a great buy. If your child needs practice I would recommend this.

I am not too pleased with this book as I wanted a full-size handwriting book (to use for homeschooling). Although we will use this book, it is not that. It is small. (Yes, it was my fault for not noting the size when I ordered.) It is really more of a "homework helper" as the title suggests. You could use it well "in addition" to your main course of handwriting. For example, if your child is in school and just needs A LITTLE extra practice, this book would be great. However, if you are looking for a bit more extensive work on handwriting you will probably be a little disappointed- as I was.

Really great teaching tool for those who struggle with handwriting

tiny book. only one page per letter.

I got this to help my 7 year old with her handwriting. Its pages are a little thicker than the dollar store books and larger as well. I loved it and would buy again.

wouldn't buy again.this is just too small I know that the other reviews warned of this but I thought I would still give a go. so unless you are traveling during off school days and want some practice I say don't do it.
