Yes they get solid, but still easy to bend to shape, really useful

Can these be used to keep insulin cool?

not sure about medication but they stayed frozen in my coolbox (about 25 of them) for 24 hours and kept the beers cold if that helps, much easier than the hard plastic gel blocks, less messy than ice. Hope this helps
