It works and reacts to the magent just like videos seen online. It is a little small maybe only the size of my palm, but lots of fun ti play with i could see it being a choking hazard for very small children but loads of fun for anyone else great buy quick delivery and great present for $20

My students liked it. It’s quite a small bottle though with even less material inside. I do appreciate that it came with a strong external magnet. The blue color that was added to the Ferro fluid kind of reminds me of shimmery nail polish. Great for teaching about magnetic fields. Seems pricey for the quantity you get though.Good, quick delivery, arrived exactly as expected.

This ferro fluid is fun to play with. If I hold the magnet the correct distance from the bottle then I can get the ferro fluid to have rather large spikes. Only issue I am having is the liquid is starting to now turn tanish in color and I have a large air bubble in it which was there from the beginning. No noticable leaks from the bottle either. Hopefully the air bubble doesn't grow cause if it does there must be a microscopic leak from the cap.

I am very impressed by this little bottle of ferro.

Whether you're a magnet enthusiast like myself or just casually interested in magnets, this magnetic ferrofluid is well worth the purchase. Note that it is not technically magnetic itself, but rather is attracted to magnets, an important distinction.

I bought this to show my science class with the expectation that it was completely sealed with no chance of air getting in. But it arrived with an air bubble. Any exposure to air and the ferrofluid begins to rust, and after some time, there's dark red rust dust in the mix. After more time, all of the liquid is brown, and hard to see what's going on.Very disappointing and definitely not worth the price.
