This is a great kit but they just raised the price from $42 to $64?!
I have have purchased 6 of these sets and 2 of the other sets since March 2nd. I haven’t had any problems so far and I was happy they were so easy and fun to use. I know how important soap is esp. now but was really sad to see this price jump from $42.00 to $64.00 in this short amount of time. I haven’t bought them since, but still wish I could. I thought it was a little high before since when it’s melted down it doesn’t look like very much, obviously and yet I stuck with them since they’ve got all the different types in one set. I have purchased other soaps for a much better price but don’t have that Amazon security and free-fast shipping. Although the Amazon drivers have missed my place more than once Amazon was quick to help out. I do love these those if you can swing it ,it’s really good to learn about and work with the different types like I mentioned, and I’ve given some away and people really like them and that makes me feel good. Also, if your going to sell them you get a wide variety. I was thinking of selling some, but not sure if I’m good enough yet. I think it’s great soap-great shipping cost and speed-boxed really well with free set of Silicon Mold (Leaves or Flowers) which are really good and you don’t have to go out to get them and if your staying in anyway they’re really easy to use. Cut up your block of soap into chunks, microwave (or double boiler) 30 sec. intervals and mix until there’s no chunks. One min. should be about right if your melting your soap in a Pyrex cup. Add your essential oil(s) and you can add things such as Coffee Grounds (exfoliating) or Oatmeal, Honey, Dried Flowers, Green Tea, etc...Oils such as Coconut, Sweet Almond, EVOO, Grape Seed, Vitamin E is nice to add too. Also, Lemon, Lime or Orange Zest looks great. Then if you like you can add some color (naturally) with say, Turmeric, Cinnamon or Spirulina or Soap Coloring and pour into your mold and just wait a couple hours (small ones are ready quicker) and you’ve made SOAP! Your own healthy, beautiful soap! If I can doIt, anyone can do it. I have trigger thumb in both hands too, but I made some lovely, healthy soaps and I’m onto making my own healthy buttery skin melt bars, healthy solid oils and now healthy shampoo which has been a bit harder, but I’m determined! Lol! I hope that you decide to make some because you will have fun and your hands will be in soap and warm water (afterwards cleaning up) so it’s good to be doing it right now. Soap is very important, even more so now and I love it! I just don’t like the raised price?! So I will be buying from other company’s....thank you if you read all this, and please stay safe! 💞🧼

Great selection, easy to use!
This came with 8 types of soap bases that are individually wrapped and 1lb each. These are very good quality and very easy to use! All I have been doing is cutting them into approx. 1 inch cubes and melting them on the stove in a saucepan on low heat (the directions say to microwave in increments and stir, but I feel like I have more control with the stove-just personal preference) I am new to soap making and wanted something that gave me a variety of soap bases to try without having to spend a ton of money and get a ton of products. The silicone leaf mold is really cute too! the molds are a smidge smaller than I was expecting but not too small. I have been using a half-block of base at a time and am able to fill about 8 of the leaves. I havent tried all the bases yet, but so far the shea butter is my favorite, it is very moisturizing, has a very light and pleasnt smell, and holds the scents I add in very well. Everytime I use one made from the shea butter my girlfriend says I smell good all day long! Overall I really like this and plan on purchasing the other set that has other bases!

Great quality for a great price
We use the soaps as they come, i.e. we don’t melt and pour them in forms. I react allergic to most scents and love glycerine soaps. The lather you get from these soaps is amazing, they get the oil off your skin and don’t dry it out. Will buy again.

Product quality good. Product weight short.
The soap product is nice. The part that saddens me is it is not a pound. I weighed each and every block and they were all short of a pound. Also I can't find a ingredients list to see if and which ones are gluten free.

When on sale buy two
This product is a great way to learn what type of soap you want to make. Great for beginners.

I'm new, so this was perfect
I'm new to soapmaking so this was just the thing to splurge on. The mold seems very high quality and the soaps are so easy too. They come with limited instructions but you can supplement with some youtube videos or a google search. I found my bars last much longer when I let them "cure."Overall the soap was perfect (I love the charcoal block) and the mold was just the right size for my needs. I tested it out and I can go over a week using a full body bar (face wash, shampoo, body, and shaving). So this will be perfect for travel.

Lathers extremely well
I rated this soap a high score (5 star) just because it lathers super well. I tried it out tonight. I will definetly order it again for my future melt and pour process soap. The only issue I had is that the mold cavities are small. More like sample soaps to give out to friends or love ones. However nice MP..all are packaged well in excellent block formation. also, the ingredients listed on each soap block has the same, so I don't really know what really is the difference although each block is labeled as one kine. So, go figure...Update: I have used the goat soap again. This soap is extremely moisturizing to us. I really love how it feels on the skin. I bought other brands, but so far this is the best.
