I have planter fasciitis. This has worked out really well to put cold packs on my feet. It comes with two ice packs so that you can have one on your foot and one back in the freezer getting ready for the next use. The ice packs fit perfectly in the well made wrap that straps right to your foot. You can also put it in the microwave and warm it up and have a hot pack which they suggest cold packs then hot packs for planter fasciitis. I actually don’t use it as a hot pack because I like to soak my feet in hot water with Epson salt and then put the ice packs on my feet. This seems to work better for me. It’s pretty easy to use and holds the cold pack right next to my foot without having to hold it there with my hand. I do find it helpful to wear a sock so that it doesn’t get too cold. Having one for each foot Will be very convenient but not necessarily required. You could do 1 foot at a time but I suggest getting one for each foot so you can do both feet at the same time. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with planter fasciitis. It’s comfortable and it was reasonably priced and easy to use. Most of all it serves the purpose that I bought it for.

The gel packs are sturdy. They freeze well, and slide into the foot "sleeve" easily, covering the area needed. I haven't had a chance to try the heat with them yet but am not anticipating any issues. The cost is in the ballpark based on other products I have reviewed, and less than others. They can be used for either foot, but since both of my feet are in bad shape (plantar fasciitis) I'd love to see a lower price for 2 purchased at the same time, as I would be more tempted to buy 2 at once. However, since there are 2 gel packs for freezing or heating, it is easy enough to use on one foot after another. The paid relief was great and no more juggling icepacks to cover the right spot.

This thing is great! It is relatively easy to put on and use. Provides a great deal of plantar fasciitis pain relief. The adjustment strap it comes with is great for ensuring ice pressure on your arch, I just wish there was a strap for around my ankle. The ice sleeve tends bow out, away from the ankle, so your heel isn't really 'cupped' but the ice. I grabbed a spare Velcro strap I had lying around and modified it so my heel has even ice pressure on bottom and up the back to the height of my ankle bone. That extra strap makes a world of difference.

Photo is what I consider a better buy. Write up is for this product.I was concerned with the narrow ice packs. The concept is good and it fits ok. Might not fit a large foot. I wear a shoe size 9.5 and was buying to treat plantar fasciitis. The problem is because the ice packs are so small/narrow, they don't last more than 10 minutes before they aren't cold anymore, but they do provide 2 ice packs, but who wants to ice for 10 minutes and then run to the freezer to get the other pack, wrestle with the straps and ice pack swap to continue icing. A better design would be if the ice packs were wider and came up on the side of the foot at least an inch as it does in the back of the foot. A larger ice pack should also last longer. I can't comment on the heat performance as I did not try it.I ended up using my knee wrap purchased on Amazon "Relief Expert Knee Ice Pack for Injuries Reusable Gel Cold Pack Knee Wrap Around Knee with Cold Compression, Instant Knee Pain Relief for Swelling, Bruises, Surgery Recovery - Soft Plush Lining"I bought it after knee surgery and it worked great for that. Since this foot ice/heat pack was inadequate to me and I am returning it. Instead, I started using my knee wrap on my foot. It works great. See pictures.

This is worth the little investment for my sore feet. I have plantar fascias & arthritis from a break when I was younger on my left foot. It can be difficult to walk & sometimes sleep, because of the pain or dull ache. I like that this wrap can focus on the bottom of my foot and is able to zero in on the problem rather then trying to make a random ice pack fit. Comes with a adjustable foot wrap and squishy ice pack. Nice to use when I have been on my feet all day. The wrap is adjustable and comfortable. I prop myself up on the couch or chair and leave it on for a good 20 minutes. Very helpful

Let me start off with my background info. I have Plantars fasciitis in my left foot and wear a size 9 woman’s shoe. I ordered the large and it’s fits well in that only a small amount of my big toe sticks out. I wear a medium width shoe and this closes but I think if you have a very wide foot the flaps may not reach around your foot to Velcro closed. It is very comfortable. I use it without socks and you can defiantly feel the cold. I also use it with the strap to help hold it against my arch (which is an average arch). To help keep the cold up tight to my foot I sit upright while using it with my foot resting flat on the floor. I would not put any weight on it as it might pop the ice pack open. The ice pack fit the foot wrap well in width and length. I feel the cold/ heat all the way across my foot, up the heel about 3 inches and all the way to my toes. It remained cold for the 20 minutes I used it for. I store it with the ice pack in the wrap in a bag in my freezer so it’s ready to go. I do not think this will hurt the wrap at all as it’s just a stretchy thick fabric with Velcro. I have previously used just a plain 10x7 flat gel ice pack and molded it to my foot and ace bandaged it in place, and I have used a foot ice pack in which the entire wrap which went up around the ankle and enveloped the whole foot. I feel this one suits my needs better as I don’t need nor want my whole foot to be iced. I would recommend this foot wrap for anyone who has a normal to slightly wide foot and no longer than an mens 11 or woman’s 10 shoe.

Helped husband’s feet.

This product is very over priced for what you get! The slipper does not fit snuggly on your foot so if you buy this, by it one size smaller if possible. The gel packs are not customized to the slipper so they move about and you have to bend them to get them to stay inside. They still move around and slide to one side so they don't stay on your heel. You could buy the the gel packs at a drug store and slip them inside a large sock and it would be better. Do not recommend. Will be sending back.

I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and my doctor suggested I do various stretching exercises and then ice my foot after. I like the fact that the strap is able to push the ice pack to the arch of my foot where I need it the most. It is very easy to use and convenient. I'm happy with my purchase.
