Simple and durable. I bought some of these to stick in one of the trees in my backyard so that when the Junkies that like to sleep in the alley by my house feel like messing with my dog I could quickly and quietly access some of the harser to reach branches in my tree and post up with a BB gun to take out the hobos... boy did they do the trick. Instructions say not to leave in a tree for any extended period of time but so far so good.

I am very pleased with the Cranford EZY Climb Deluxe Tree Steps. They are easy to install and securely hold my 230# with no issues.

does what it's supposed to
These are some of the easiest tree-steps to use. They give you a flat surface for a foothold and fold up for carrying. I wish they were lighter but I can't imagine them being as affordable. Know your laws before using, particularly on public grounds. I use to give myself a few steps before getting to a strap-on ladder section. They can be removed when leaving so as to not allow easy access to other less scrupulous members of your hunting club. ALWAYS CLIMB SAFE AND WEAR A HARNESS.
