Q: I have a viking cooktop model #vgsu161 and need to replace the spark module. can this really be done from below while the cooktop is still in place?

Dear customer, Yes, the replacement of the part module can be completed while the stove is in place. But we recommend consulting the manufacture manual to ensure proper installation.

Q: How do i replace the module on a vgsu161-6bss? through the bottom? used to get endless sparking even after the stove was on but now there's no spark.

I replaced the unit, through the bottom. I had tight space, and it was much easier to take the whole cook top unit out of the counter top. You also have to remove the brass nuts on top under the circular gas distributors under the pot holder irons. Its a pain.

Q: 5 out of the 6 sparks continue clicking even after the burners all ignite. Will this new module fix the issue? Model: gas-vgssu1636-bss,
