As my hubby and I are reaching the age where we attend more funerals than weddings I thought it was high time my hubby had a decent black tie. His old one was a cheap and nasty nylon thing which looked terrible against his rather nice shirts. My family have a tradition, as I think most do, that you should look your absolute best at a funeral and his old tie was not living up to standards. Not to mention that it was a slim style tie which my hubby dislikes.Once this tie arrived I immediately felt better knowing that he would look his absolute best. It sounds petty but it's important to me. Both my dad and my brother have a silk tie and it always bothered me that my husband didn't.For such a small thing it made me feel be ter and I hope he doesn't have to wear it any time soon

I bought it in black, and it has a lustrous, quality appearance, the material is thick and smooth, with a very close weave which will prevent snagging and is pleasant to handle.It ties easily and sits well in the collar opening, which means it was put together by someone who knows how to make a tie. I have a number of expensive ties and this is better than many of them.At the price I can only say that I feel I have a bargain.
