Not What I Thought It Would Be
He sang some great songs - powerfully and with excellent presentation - on the show and somehow we ended up with this CD. I was very disappointed. I don't know why when they have an artist with such great talent and vocal skill they are either permitted or encouraged to produce nothing like what they performed on the show. Why?

Thanks for sharing
When I first saw Jahmene Douglas on the X-factor, he wowed me with his version of "At Last" by Etta James. His humility, faith in Christ and his voiced inspires me to be a better person. His initial shyness was refreshing, but as he advanced in the show his confidence progressed. I also listen to "Love Never Fails"CD daily as I go to work. His voice and the words are motivationally. Not only driving to work, while at work or just driving. I need no excuse to just listen to his CD. He has such a wide range to his voice. I looked forward to all his CD's; and most of all I am happy that he recognizes that his voice can be used to inspire not only the young, but all humans. He is just "Jahmazing"Thanks

Jahmene brings a new gospel sound to the market.
I have been following the X-Factor in Europe and Australia . I am amazed at the talent around the world that we never hear. Jahmene is one such person. This was a very popular CD album in Briton during 2013. Apparently this young man is one of only a handful of singers around the world that can reach into high notes without using a falsetto. He has a nice voice, plenty of range and presents a pleasant variety of songs making for good listening at home or in the car. I suspect we will hear more of him as he ages. I highly recommend this.

Jahmene is Jah-mazing
Jahmene Douglas is an extraordinary talent, and this was something that was evident from his very first audition on the UKs X-Factor. He's a real winner, even though he came in second. This album is an excellent example of the reason that he was so popular, and won a recording contract though coming in second. In my book, he will always be first. The album shows off his voice to great advantage. I don't really have any favorite songs because they are all done so beautifully. This is an excellent album that shows off the tremendous talents of this young man.

Angelic voice
I watched Jahmene on X-factors (you tube since I'm in the USA) and loved his angelic voice. The album has much more of that voice but too much religion for me. There are a few non religious that give me a good dose of Jahmene when needed. It was sold out on Amazon so I purchased from a London based reseller, for half the price of new, and had as quick service as buying in the states.

I am so in love with this young man's voice
I am so in love with this young man's voice. When I watched him on You Tube, I just had to get the album. I took it to work and played it for my co-workers and they all fell in love with him. I received it on time. Thank you very much for that. I recommend it to anyone who want to listen to one of the most beautiful voices ever. I cannot wait for his other albums.

Surprise
Took me a while to understand what the songs were about. Finally got it and do enjoy his singing and original choice of music. Definitely a young man to watch who has overcome so much. His music is his voice to the world. I wish him more success as he lives his faith.

Stunning Voice
I loved Jahmene's voice the minute I heard his first audition on X-Factor. His voice is just stunning! When you hear Jahmene sing on this CD, it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up...Although this is an album of covers, it is not karaoke versions of the originals. Jahmene interprets the songs in his own unique style. I actually enjoy Jahmene's rendition of Fix You, Halo and Titanium better than the originals. He just blows me away... and I cannot resist listening to these tracks over and over again. On the subject of covers, a couple of the reviews have expressed disappointment that this is an album of covers. Jahmene has always put himself forward as a singer, not a song writer. I don't have any issue with covers, if they are done well. You only have to look at some of the great artists of our time and they have all sang cover versions of popular classics. E.g. Rod Stewart, Frank Sinatra, Whitney Houston, even the Rolling Stones! I could go on...I gave the album four stars because I was not too keen on a couple of the religious tracks, but only because I didn't particularly like the melodies. A couple of the tracks feature Gospel type backing singers and I really enjoyed these. The Christian music market is huge, and I think Jahmene would do well to target two audiences separately.I really hope Jahmene is given the opportunity by the record companies to have a long career. I hope he puts out another CD soon. I would love to hear more of his amazing voice...

HEAVENLY. A VOICE TO TREASURE
What an amazing talent the lad has. Felt he should have won the show as he was head and shoulders above all in the talent stakes. This is a voice that is heaven sent, no effort at all for him. This album may be cover versions but I can assure you that once heard you will come to prefer Jahmene's version over the original. There are some clear gospel influences in part which I have even come to enjoy. There isn't a bad track, not one, and I have loved it so much I have played it to death. Hope he is carefully nurtured by the Cowell machine because he is special. And he deserves to be massive and rise above all the adversity he and his family have had to endure with a painful start to life, good luck to him, and cant wait for more to come...

Jahmene Douglas - Love Never Fails CD
Love this CD. I bought it a while ago when it first came out. My grandchildren love it too, so I bought another one for a birthday present for one of them. Stevie Wonder plays the harmonica on one of the tracks. and Nicole sings a duet with Jahmene on another. He is a great singer who deserved to win the X Factor instead of coming 2nd.
