Cobra/Tango and Cash

Cobra is a really fun movie and full of drama, Tango and Cash is the movie to see and enjoy if you the kind who enjoys buddy movies which have twists and a little zing.

Love Tango and Cash it's one of my favorites!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also looked for this movie in a lot of stores and was unsuccessful at finding it.

My boyfriend was very happy to get this as one of his Valentines gift. He is a big Stallone fan.

I picked up this "Action Double Feature" with Sylvester Stallone as "Cobra" and Sylvester Stallone plus Kurt Russell as "Tango & Cash" on the five-dollar DVD rack at Wal-Mart. If you like Stallone movies, you might enjoy the disc, although I can't view them as some of Stallone's better movies. Both movies share a common trait. They're very much like "pilot movies," or the first step in a long-running series. So, you might view "Cobra" as the first in a line of Dirty-Harry-type police movies, for example. "Tango and Cash" might be the first step in a long-running television series, like Starsky and Hutch or something like that. As such, the fact that you don't see any "Cobra 2" or "Cobra 3" movies or there is no-long running "Tango & Cash" TV series is trying to tell you something. The pilots weren't that good and didn't gather much acclaim. These are not bad movies. If you like Stallone movies, and I do, my advice would be that there are better offerings available. If you have to have everything, well, these don't cost that much.Gary Peterson

Picked up the action double feature of Cobra and Tango & Cash at Big Lots for 3 bucks. I had to buy it since they hardly ever show them on tv anymore. These are two dumb fun action movies. If your not into that then stay away from these films. The downside is that they are both on one dvd disc, and both movies are in full-screen. I personally dont like doubles sided dvds since you can easily accidently scratch them and its somestimes difficult to see what side it what film, but I couldnt pass it up since it was so cheap. Side A has Cobra and side B has Tango & Cash. The cobra side contains director commentary, sylvester stallone trailer gallery and languages & subtiles: English, French and Spanish. The tango & cash side has a theatrical trailer, languages: English & French, Subtitles: English, French and Spanish.

This two-disc set contains two Sylvester Stallone action movies from the 1980s: Cobra and Tango & Cash. The discs are double-sided, with one side containing the widescreen version of the movies, and the full-screen version on the other side for some reason. Image quality is okay for movies of this age, but not much has been done to clean up the picture quality.Cobra is a Dirty Harry movie with Stallone instead of Clint Eastwood, only not as good. It's a very silly film that also takes itself really seriously. There are some good action scenes, but the movie is nothing special.Tango & Cash is the better of the two movies. It's an over the top version of buddy-cop films like Lethal Weapon; this movie is silly like Cobra too, but it's better-made and has more humor, thanks in large part to Kurt Russell.This collection is aimed squarely at Stallone fans who need to own all of his movies. The films aren't on par with the Stallone classics, but they're decent and the price is certainly right.
