Warm skiers Feet AT LAST - So worth the $42, easy to use
I'm so thrilled to have these socks after ONE use. I didn't have to quit because of cold feet. I've suffered with cold toes for years, and have avoided boot heaters. My boots are on the short side- so the battery pocket in the calf is above my boot. I haven't needed to use them more than 4 hours- often by afternoon or quitting time, it's warmer.Warning: there's only one UNISEX size. I wear a men's size 10 [women's 11-12] and they're a little bulky on me . They need to make a smaller size for smaller people. My women friends are interested in the socks, but they'll be TOO BIG for them. These socks are super easy to use - plug the batteries into the wall and watch the PLUG for the green light to indicate the charge. It takes a while. Then, put the batteries into the pocket in the sock, plug in the same hole and choose low, medium or high. Go outside and enjoy. The temperature at the top of the mountain today was 20F. Usually enough to chill my feet after an hour. I set the heat on "medium," and didn't feel hot, just comfortable. What a miracle. I'm optimistic these things can keep my tootsies warm when the mercury drops to the teens, even single digits, opening up more skiing opportunities ! I'll crank them up to HIGH.This is NOT a paid review, just a happy customer.I don't plan to wash them often [hand washing only] and I'll report back after next ski season on how or if they've held up. I'm skeptical. I hope they prove me wrong. I couldn't even feel the wires. The sock is about as thick as an average ski sock, not a skinny ski sock. I didn't wear a liner sock, and my feet sweated, as usual, but this time the sweat didn't freeze up. My boot is a tight fit, and there was room for this sock. The previous reviews helped me choose this product, so I'm helping others because reviews are valuable.

They work!
Bicycle commuter in Minneapolis 18miles 1 way, best $42 I've ever spent. If you plan on being outside in the cold and you get cold feet... just buy them.

Warm
These came just in time for the cold weather! On high these are too hot for me. I use them on low most of the time and occasionally on medium. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is outside lots and especially if you do a lot of standing out in the cold! Also check out the gloves!

No more cold feet for me! They Work Well!
These work! They only heat the top of your foot, just back from your toes. In -5 degrees Fahrenheit, and on high, they really do keep your feet from freezing. Battery life lasts for me at least 6 hours so far. These socks are almost like a thick compression sock. Make sure your careful with heated socks, if you over compensate, and Crank them to high, no matter how comfy, you do NOT want your feet sweating in cold weather. These work well while watching TV or hunting. I did have 1 sock that was DOA, the company sent a replacement out right away. I am diabetic, and have bad circulation, and these seem to really work well so far. I fully recommend these to anyone in the market for warm feet 😊

Works as described, very pleased.
I have raynauds, so I bought these when local stores where sold out of foot warmers. I was reluctant do to reading so many horrible reviews on so many battery operated socks and insoles. It sucks you have to hand wash them but other than that I love them! The heat is on the top of the foot but you can position the sock so that the element is on top of your toes. Batteries last as described, and I found that with a good insulated shoe you can turn them on to warm up then off and the heat in your shoe will last atleast an hour or 2 depending on the temperature and if your indoors or out doors.P.S. I am a taxidermist and during hunting season I work over in the processing ( butcher shop) side so it's always freezing, plus the floor is concrete. These socks saved my little piggies.

Happy with this product
Exactly what I was looking for. Had medium weight muck boots on tonight. 22 degrees and had the setting on medium.Only issue is getting to the battery when you have layers on because you have to pull up your pant leg so far. My guess would be any type would have this same problem. Just something to think about if you think you will need to adjust a bunch.

Wife saver!!!
These were purchased for my wife to use while either camping or hunting in the winter time. She has the worst cold feet ever I have bought her the best insulated boots, wool socks, everything I could think of to make her happy while by my side in the cold weather. These finally did the trick, 6 to 8 hours out in the field in the snow and not once did she complain about her feet!!!!
