Jet-Tone Lip Protector

First, I want to say that this is the same thing as the Musician's Orthodontic Lip Protector. I ordered both thinking they were different products and they aren't. The price here was better than the other listing. I am an adult in braces for the 2nd time around. I also have a tendency to get canker sores very easily. I have been wearing these often during the day when I am at home, and at night while I sleep. They aren't perfect (nor are my teeth yet), but they go one easier every time, and have made my 1st week in adult braces much more tolerable. I'm happy to have the 2nd set, because I am glad to have a backup in case I misplace one. Much more valuable to me and easier to use than wax! If I could pick one must have item for braces this time, it would be these.

Liked it in theory, but it didn't fit onto the braces very well. It was too bulky, and uncomfortable at the ends.

I have braces and his product makes them bearable. Its nice because you dont have to heata mold it like most oher items. Which means you dot have to make another one every other week as your teeth have shifted. Especially great when you first get braces on and have not developed inner lip toughness yet. I only slept in this at night to give my lips a break from the braces and it really made the days more bearable. I have had braces 2 times and wish I had known about this the first time around. My cousin got braces and I sent her one as a gift and she really thought it helped too. Just be careful around animals because they think it is a nice chew toy.

Didn't fit my mouth at all. Hard to use it as a guard when it doesn't even fit. My cats had more fun thinking they were twist ties.

The service was wonderful, these came on-time in nice packaging.The product itself isn't perfect, but does suit it's purpose. The protector is obviously a generic shape and size, so unfortunately, it won't fit on some of your brackets - especially if you've got some wonky teeth (fortunately for me all I have are spacing issues, so only a couple brackets wouldn't click into the protector). Once you get the hang of putting it on, it does work wonders for the front of your mouth.One problem I had with these is that at the back ends, there's no protection. So instead of rubbing from brackets, I have rubbing from the ends of these things on my cheeks. So they should either be longer (go all the way back to the end of the mouth, where you could trim if they were too long) or they should have some kind of protective rubber around the ends to keep them from rubbing the inside of your mouth raw.If your only problem area is your lips, then I highly recommend them to protect yourself when you are playing instruments or whatever.If your problem area is your whole dang mouth, you may want to look into another product.

I bought these lip bumpers to wear them at night and they fit ok. since my bottom teeth are not align correctly just yet, the bottom lip bumper does not fit good. But the top one fits great

As an adult with braces, it kind of sucks. I got tired of taking wax on and off. This worked perfectly for when I sleep and really helps keep my cheeks and lips from throbbing in pain. Right price and works just right.

I bought this hoping that I can wear it to work because I constantly have to talk to customers and my braces would scratch me all the time. Unfortunately, it is too big and noticeable (milky white) to wear outside and difficult to talk with. Therefore I can only wear it to sleep which is fine too because it helps prevent my braces from molding into my gums at night and waking up with cancer sores. It fits pretty well all around except for the last two teeth but it doesn't fall off either. It is not that comfortable and you can really tell I'm wearing something in my mouth. Made out of flexible plastic.
