Seems short, and won't fit over all guides on my casting rods.
I bought eight of these to accommodate all my bait casting rigs. All my poles are 7 feet long, and these jackets are supposed to accommodate rods up to 7.5 feet. But the jackets are only 65 inches long, and the grommet on the end takes up an inch of that, so only about 64 inches of rod actually gets covered when inserted. On my rods, this just barely covers all the guides. If you tried putting a 7.5 foot rod in them, I'm not sure it would even reach the first guide!In addition, the jackets would not fit over the first guide on my BPS Johnny Morris Carbonlite 7 foot rod, so I can't use them on that one.On the other hand, they seem well made.
