Artificial Pothos Ledge Plant with Long Trailers

I just got this plant in the mail today and am very impressed with the quality and and color. The color is not as dark and drab as it appears online. It's much more vibrant in person with a few lighter tones on some of the leaves making it look very natural from afar. It is fuller and larger than I expected (measurements are hard to visualize). I wish I could post a picture because I feel like that would be helpful for others. I have mine on top of a basic 5 shelf tall bookcase and it pretty much takes up 3/4 of the top with enough room to put some other decorative piece next to it. The hanging trailers are perfect because I wanted to see just plant, not the planter, and this is the case from the front. From the sides and the back you do see some of the planter but the planter is beautiful as well. It's a dark woven wood looking rectangular basket which you can tell by zooming in on the photo.

I ordered this to go on top of the hutch in my office. I work in an office complex where the president and vice president share office space so I was concerned that it would not look realistic. It turned out to be much better than I expected. It is a large, full plant that covers probably a third of the top of the hutch. It looks real. We have a large volume of traffic in and out of our compex and many people have complimented me on how it looks. It really adds a lot of color and depth to the space. It was packed in a large box and was held down to the box with plastic tie downs that worked very well and kept the plant in place through all the shipping. I received it really quickly. The price was reasonable as most I found on the web were over $100. I was very pleased with the entire process. I would highly recommend this company and this product.

The plant itself was of mediocre quality and was deposited in a very cheap-looking plastic pot. At $80, it was hardly worth the price (and I'd be willing to pay quite a bit for a quality, convincing artificial plant), so I decided to return it. The problem was that the seller(House of Silk Flowers) does not pay for shipping on returns. When I took the item to my local package delivery service to return, I found that the item was so large that it would have cost me almost $60 to ship even using the cheapest method available. I checked the original shipping cost and it was only $14. I contacted the seller and asked if he could send me the same label and then deduct the $14 from my refund. He refused, but instead offered to discount the original price by 25% if I wanted to keep the plant. That would make the price of the plant $60, which was also what it would cost me to return it. I took the discount and kept the plant because the cost was the same and it required less effort than returning it. I'm happy to report that the item is now sitting in my garage awaiting my annual trip to the local charity to donate it for whatever tax deduction I can get for a mediocre-quality silk plant in a cheap-looking plastic pot. I think I'll use my tax return to buy a decent plant from a reputable merchant.

This is a nice looking plant, especially from a distance. It's large and long, and I have it sitting on top of a china cabinet. Any closer than that and it looks too artificial. I also think this would be good in an office environment in a reception area, window ledge, on top of a cubicle divider. Good shipping, well packaged.

It took awhile to get here (as was expected/stated) but arrived w/in stated time frame. The greenery is OK but the flimsy straw basket it's in is to weak and light to support the weight of the greenery so you'll need to put them in another container or wedge/weigh down the other. It works OK for me as I needed it for a very high shelf but would'nt use it for something eye level or lower.

This is a great artificial plant to put on a shelf. It looked good right out of the box without any "fluffing" necessary. The basket good looking. It's a brown weaved basket. Not much else to say about an artificial plant. Looks good. Would have given 5 stars but I think after shipping costs, price was a little steep.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase. They look real enough and add color to the room. They appear to be good quality. I don't know why fake plants cost so much. These were some of the less expensive I looked at. I think they should cost less. 4 stars because of price.
