The light itself looks really good but I’ve makes down as the remote only works a meter out which is no good when it resets every time it’s turned on. I now have to go outside click it on every time which defeated the point of buying one with a remote. Other than that the light seems ok.

I bought a couple of these lights to highlight some indoor plants, I didn't need all the colour change options but they are great! Remote controlled too, excellent value for money, ip65 rated too so ok for outside, arrived well packed and on time, 3 days free postage. Can't comment on longevity but look well built. Very happy punter here.

I bought about 30 of these, in different batches. Things noted:As other reviewers note, they always switch on in sequencing mode. Not very convenient if you need to go around each and point the remote at it. Different batches have different remotes, meaning the red button on one remote will switch on the red lights on one batch and (say) the cyan lights on another.As it happens, I don't mind them sequencing, but the different batches sequence differently. OK if you have a good mix, but not good if you need to replace one light.Waterproof is a moot point. IP65 isn't the toughest standard and there is evidence of water ingress in some of the lights (condensation on the inside of the glass). More importantly, the lights fail frequently. Of the 30 I have bought, 8 are actually used, I have 4 spares and 18 have failed. Failures have been as follows:Simply stopping working. Life seems to be between a few days and a year. One didn't work on day zero.One or more colours failing. Noticeable in the sequencing. OK if you don't want that colour, but not if you want to sequence.Short circuit. The most annoying failure as it takes out the whole circuit and you can't easily find which one has failed. Many wasted hours disconnecting, new fuse, reconnecting, and repeating until you find the bad one. Note also that the lights come with a plug with a 13A fuse in it. The fitted cable is not up to 13A, so you should change the fuse to a 3A one if you use the plug. But it's not waterproof anyway.High leakage current to earth. Possibly water related, but I have taken to running the lights on an isolating transformer for safety.Would also concur that the light output is quite low for a 10W power draw, but I don't think the LED elements are particularly efficient, compared with (say) a white LED.

The light is really bright, doesn't get hot either. The remote stopped working after about 2 weeks and the light doesn't remember previous settings so it's now stuck on the basic cycling setting

Damned good for the price, damned good at any price! Excellent little device this. Beautifully built, very tough, very capable.

Adds a cool glow of light around the place. Low wattage so no light pollution. Only minor gripe is the remote. I have to press it to the glass for it to work.

Second one of these I have bought now really good product.Used outside at Halloween when it rained and no damage still works great.Easy to use with remote. Would recommend
