Title is misleading but this set is a must-buy for the best classic Christmas songs ever!
I have been looking for the four CD set of the "Collectables Ultimate Christmas Albums" for several years now. I had it on cassette and missed the music selections at Christmas time very much. I bought the "100 Christmas Hits" set of CDs this year since the songs were as close as I could remember as far as title and artist. Imagine my surprise when I opened the DVD case they came in and found all four Collectables Ultimate Christmas Albums inside. Merry Christmas indeed! If I were the seller, I would change the title to "Collectables Ultimate Christmas Albums 1 - 4" so anyone looking for that set can find it easily. I played the CDs at our annual Christmas party and everyone said it was the best Christmas party they had ever been to because they enjoyed singing along so much.

Runner Up
A tremendous amount of Christmas music here though more than fifty percent seems to be filler (i.e. random holiday songs which, or by artists who, were never particularly well-regarded). A better Christmas collection, and by far my favorite, is the 2-disc The Time-Life Treasury of Christmas which has virtually no filler and contains the majority of holiday classics we've all come to know and love, though it can be a little pricey nowadays and a few of the renditions aren't the most famous ones. And it's missing a few well-known hits that this set has like Eartha Kitt's "Santa Baby", Chuck Berry's "Run Rudolph Run", Jimmy Boyd's "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus", Spike Jones' "All I Want for Christmas (Is My Two Front Teeth)", Elmo 'n Patsy's "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer", Andy Williams' "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year", Elvis Presley's "Blue Christmas" and The Chipmunks' "The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)". Both collections are still missing some Christmas staples such as Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas is You", Darlene Love's "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" and ANY artist's rendition of "Baby, It's Cold Outside" but those can be acquired separately if need be. Also, if you decide to go with the Time-Life Treasury album understand that there are multiple versions that exist and that the ideal ones come with around 45 songs (on 2 or 3 discs); some versions have only about half that number of songs.Unfortunately, this set comes packaged in a somewhat cheap DVD-sized box which only holds three of the four discs (the fourth comes loose inside within a paper sleeve). And because it's a DVD case, if any of the three anchored discs pops loose (which is all too possible with this set) they have more room to slide around accruing scratches. All in all, I found it a fairly nice set to round out my holiday music collection so if you can pick it up relatively cheap I recommend it. Just do your homework first and make sure this one contains the songs you want/need.

LOTS of Christmas music from all the best artists!
This collection is the best we've found... by FAR. The variety and quality of the songs and recordings is unmatched. Sure you can stream Christmas or make your own playlist online... but sometimes kickin' it old skool with 4 CDs is just the way to roll.

fun
so happy to find this! it has Dominick the Donkey and David Bowie all on the same CD-two of my favorite Christmas songs. Such a varied collection, you dont need a bunch of cds in your car-just this one will have every song you want to hear

Product imperfect.
CD's were all scratched and loose in case. Two of the four CD's were the same. Very unhappy.
