Mixed feelings from the shrimp
The inhabitants of my tank give mixed reviews about these. I have a ghost shrimp, an Amano shrimp, and two small goldfish living together, and I ordered these as an occasional treat for the shrimp that normally live off of diatoms and uneaten fish food.Unsurprisingly the goldfish are a huge fan of these sticks and will devour one in thirty seconds if given the chance! The Amano shrimp doesn’t get particularly excited about them but will eat if it appears right in front of her, and the ghost shrimp is kind of freaked out by the stick moving around in the water and doesn’t want anything to do with it. I’ll probably order a different flavor before giving up on these entirely.Some observations from the human perspective:• The stick floats for a while before sinking. I usually stick one end in the gravel or under some leaves, but...• The algae comes off pretty easily once it’s in the water and bumping into anything will take big chunks off the stickNeither of those is a huge problem as the larger chunks of algae sink to the bottom and always get eaten by someone. They’re a bit pricey but worth it for an occasional snack.

Awesome shrimp food
The shrimp lollies make them happy! The orange ones are the favorite. I have tried many shrimp pellets and the shrimp don’t go for them like they do for these, and they are clean & leave no waste in the substrate. Thanks say Schemp, Sprite, Groucho, Scampi and the whole gang.

Shrimp loved them
The media could not be loaded. I tried another brand before this that had multiple flavors and my shrimp barely touched it. As soon as I put these in they went straight for it and within 2 days picked it clean. I bought the pollen pack and I give them one every Sunday as a treat!

Sticks do not Hold UP
I usually buy another brand and the sticks last my shrimp and snails hours. This is the first time I tried these and within 1/2 hour all the stuff had fallen off the stick onto the substrate. I do not know if I got a bad batch of sticks or this is just the way these are.

Theses seem to fall off the stick as soon as it's in the aquarium
Fir some reason the food on these just start falling off the stick as soon as i put it in the water/aquarium.The others I purchased were fine.

Stays put and Doesn't Cloud the Water
My freshwater shrimp love these. I like it because it stays put, doesn't fall apart and cloud the water.

Revised review
My shrimp never touched it except to perch on while swimming by. Never saw them feed on it.My aquarium may have not been healthy or something now they absolutely devour these. A matter of hours I pull a bare stick out

Too expensive! Shrimp love it!
Wouldn't you know it, my shrimp really, really love these. I advise that you shop around for the best price if you want to treat your shrimp. The product itself is great, but I suspect the markup is phenomenal. Perhaps the manufacturer asks too much for these. It's too bad since I would buy lots more, in contrast to a little more, if the price was better.
