When put together, it works just like you need it to. Easy to lock and open. Assembly was a little difficult as the pieces were not obvious which ones went together in what order, but I was able to get it together with the diagrams and instructions.

This is a very shoddy product. The clasp can be broken off the lock with minimum pressure. I couldn't get the pieces to interlock. It's essentially trash. You are better off getting a small pet carrier and a Master Lock. This will not stop anyone from eating your food or drinking your drinks.

My daughter has used it in her dorm fridge and her food stopped disappearing. I absolutely love the clever combination lock.

After being robbed consecutively. I decided to look into personal lockboxes for my things. This cage is a little bulky for concealment especially when traveling in crowded areas but people know I’m serious. I put my food along with my 3 handguns and extra mags inside of this box. I’ll leave it in the fridge at home but instead of stealing it someone or some people think it’s a good idea to spit all over it, cover it in peanut butter knowingly I’m severely allergic. I have purchased 5 of these.
