I got this workbook for my child to get some extra spelling practice at home, and we’ve been really happy with it. The exercises are easy to follow and cover a good variety of spelling, phonics, vowels, sight words, and handwriting. We usually work on a few pages after school, and I’ve noticed my child is getting more confident with spelling. I also like that it keeps the practice simple without feeling overwhelming. Overall, it’s a great workbook for a 2nd grader.

This spelling workbook has been very helpful for my daughter. It is appropriate for her age, and the exercises have helped improved my daughter's spelling tremendously. I am extremely satisfied with this product and will get it for my other daughter when she starts second grade.

Good

This book is well organized, beginning with short words and short vowel sounds, and working up from there. It is right on par with other 2nd grade spelling material that we have for our son's homeschooling. We tailor it to our needs; however, we find it to be slightly easy for his age level. This is ok with us as we are working through it quickly and will likely move on to the next level soon. The fill-in-the-blank stories that utilize the spelling list are his favorite activity!

It reviews each spelling rule in several ways. It helped my child learn to spell and write.
