Twenty Little Patchwork Quilts: With Full-Size Templates (Dover Crafts: Quilting)

Granted, I am already a Gwen Marston fan. This inexpensive little book is a fun addition to my collection of quilting books. I've made four of the "quiltlets" and they are addictive. You will want to work your way through the book. Directions are clear and easy to follow. I stapled an envelope to the inside of the book, cut out the cardstock patterns and stored them in the envelope. These little quilts are a great way for a "newbie" to practice, or to have fun with color studies, as the author suggests. They work up so quickly; you have the satisfaction of finishing a project. After I make a few more, I plan to buy her book about Amish little quilts.

Not for machine quilters. There are some decent designs for small projects. But, all of the designs are based on templates that you have to trace, and hand piece. As a machine quilter, this is not the most efficient method. I did the London Stairs quilt and I converted the directions to machine quilting measurements based on a 1 1/4" strip. This would not be doable for all of the patterns.

It arrived for me packaged in excellent condition. Thank you for that. For me, the title was deceptive. I wanted little tiny (almost like doll house sized quilts to make for my little quilt stands I have had made).For those who love making little quilts in a weekend this is your book, the patterns are first class and everything is explained thoroughly also for novice quilters. For the experienced, you will love this book. Enjoy!

I learned to quilt making "little" quilts from a similar book. They are my pride and joy, I have them everywhere. We learned a new technique from each quilt we made. I sure got hooked! Thank you for this awesome book.

Great product easy to understand patterns. Good for children to learn how to sew.

This is a nice book however it is paper piecing....its in my library and if I ever get to paper piecing I will try this book.

Easy to follow gets you into the mood for making full size quilts. Has templates and great ideas

this book arrived on time in condition stated. Cant wait to get making theses lovely little quilts, excellent instructions will make one of each and then make into a sampler quilt to hang on the wall as i have may small pieces of material to use up.
