Plum Jam 350 g, Schwartau / Germany

I have ordered this for my mom a few times. Just like in Germany tastes great.

No other plum jelly can be compared to it

Really good, not too sweet, tastes like the actual fruit.

We really like this German-made plum jam. It tastes wonderful, and there's nothing really comparable available elsewhere. Unfortunately, it is a bit too pricey to order regularly, so it's a special treat every once in a while. The can ships in a padded envelope, wrapped in a plastic bag, which is indeed a bit precarious as the can may dent. We've been lucky, I guess, our shipments have arrived undamaged so far. The lid is a bit loose, but that seems to be intentional. It certainly isn't due to damage in shipping. There is a safety foil underneath the lid that prevents spillage and keeps the contents fresh, so the slightly loose lid is not an issue anyway. You do have to use it up fairly quickly after opening though. The cans we've gotten are actually made in Germany and are labeled in German, including the nutrition label.

This is to be a birthday gift for my mom. She is German and loves her Pflaumen Mus.How disappointing that Amazon and it’s sellers choose to go cheap on packaging. Half the time your lucky if your item is put into a box and isn’t just shipped in its original packaging.These items should never have been put in an envelope. The cans are dented, the lids fell off and it’s one huge disappointment visually. I just hope the contents taste good. For $15.00 a can I won’t be ordering again.
