The chairs are awesome and stack really well. They are extremely lightweight, but do not feel cheap. The powder coat is a little darker than the table and has a subtle sparkle finish. The chair width is average (not oversized, but not narrow either). They feel sturdy to sit in and the fabric is attached very well into the aluminum frame.The table is surprisingly solid. It's aluminum with moving parts so it has a little rattle to it when you slide it around, but nothing to worry about when it's in use. The powder coat is a little lighter than the chairs and doesn't have the same sparkle finish. The set still looks good together, but be aware that the table and the chairs do have slightly different finishes.The leaf is clever and works as advertised. The big question that everyone wants to know... is the leaf solid when it's extended? Let's put it this way, I wouldn't sit on the edge when it's extended, but there is no problem eating and drinking off it. It's not going to bend or bow with normal use. The other small complaint is that the leaf has a little play in it once it's extended, meaning it doesn't sit tight against the center seam. It doesn't affect the use, but if you shake the leaf side to side, it does have a little movement to it.Overall I really like the set and I think it's priced right. I would definitely recommend it for backyard and casual use. I like the fact that it's aluminum and lightweight. It's easy to move the table and slide the chairs around when in use. However, if you prefer heavier cast iron furniture you will think this feels cheap.

I am updating my review because Wow! This is one sturdy table! During Hurricane Helene we had several trees fall on our house. As I was looking out the kitchen window, one fell in front of me, landing on the table. Once everything was removed, we straightened the legs and found two small dents. It's still in great condition. This table is DURABLEOriginal review: We spent the summer laying flagstone, building retaining walls, and making an incredible patio area. We needed the perfect table and chairs, and after a long search, we settled on these. I love them. They look good, they are comfortable and they fit the space well

The table, chairs and setup are both nice and very easy to assemble. HOWEVER, I do want everyone to know that THEY DO NOT REPLACE damaged items in delivery as was eluded to previously. This is important for all of you to know as when we purchase something that costs this much, you expect a company to stand behind their product. Amazon only wanted to partial credit my account. FYI - the damage was sustained in shipping and I had scratches on one chair and the color coat was compromised on another. All I want is the two chairs replaced as they will not last with this type of damage.

This is a beautiful contemporary set, solid but with lightweight and comfortable chairs. I love that the table is expandable.The chairs are stackable for easy storage when you don’t need ten! We paid for the Amazon delivery crew to unpack and assemble it, which was a great benefit! Look for that option!

I was hesitant to order a patio set online but the packing was very well thought out. Each chair was wrapped individually and the table was well packed in the corners and the legs tied to the table to prevent shifting during handling. However one of the chair handle was dented, of course it was the top one. The nuts and blots were attached with a red cord which helps to easily find. Most other sets leaves you digging though the packaging to find, as stated, well thought out. A word of warning, there are only 8 bolts and washers so if you lose one you are out of luck. It would have been nice to include one more just in case.The patio set was very lightweight due to its aluminum construction. The legs were bolstered to provide a sturdy attachment. The one part that most other sets miss is the table adjustment at the bottom which was the reason I chose this set, it was designed into the table so it will not wobble. Happily the fabric was not damaged and provides a sturdy backing and seating. The weight of the chairs were amazingly light. My only other comment is the welding, not the best I’ve seen but I don’t think it will impact the sturdiness.

It was easy to assemble the table, chairs were pre assembeled. Confortable and dries fast after raining.

Nice table and chairs. Not too difficult to assemble, looks nice and is comfortable. But 2 of the chairs came in with a number of areas scratched and paint missing. Packaging was good so much have been damaged at the factory or is a return that was not checked prior to reselling. I'm OK w/ that, things happen, but the customer care process is not great. Call, get link to site to upload info, then wait, wait, wait, almost a month now. Called 3x, said the caseworker is working on it. wait, wait. Meanwhile we still only have 2 chairs put together in our 4-chair with table patio setup since I don't want to put it together and have them think we damaged it. So we wait, wait, and will think hard before buying anything from Hanover again. It doesn't help Amazon's brand either -- half the reason we shop Amazon is the no-hassle returns, but when you need to deal directly with a third party like this, it's unfortunate.

I seen this table over a year ago. The price went up and I started looking at other tables. This spring it was offered at a great price. The table and chairs are great. Very sturdy. Table does not shake unless you are abusing it. Chairs are solid. Fits my deck perfect and the color is great. I believe covering it in bad weather and winter this table will last for a long time.
