Dog Muzzle Mesh with Overhead Strap, No Lick Dog Mask Mouth Guard Muzzle for Dogs Prevent Biting Chewing (L)

This thing is junk. I tried to use it on my dog to prevent her from eating snow and she managed to get it off in approx 0.0003 seconds. The material is entirely too stiff and does not conform to the face, and the velcro adjustment inside the muzzle cup prevents it from being made tight enough to stay on. The overhead strap that is supposed to keep the thing on does absolutely nothing to secure it. Total waste of money... Wish I could give Zero Stars...

My dog (80 lb., 10 yr. old Goldendoodle) has a tumor on her ankle and she has been licking/biting at it relentlessly anytime I'm out of the house (we have been on several rounds of antibiotics because she chews it raw and the area gets infected). We had tried an E-Collar, an inflatable doughnut-type collar, a silicone basket muzzle, bitter apple spray, vinegar - EVERYTHING to keep her away from it and nothing has worked. She still manages to get to the spot and I come home to blood everywhere. NOT fun.I found this muzzle and I really thought/hoped that this would be the thing to really keep her from her ankle, but unfortunately, it did not. Worked for about 2 days (and I was thrilled) until she figured out how to get it off. She could get the muzzle off (even when I put it on quite tightly) and eventually chewed through the straps. Now it is useless. I have spent so much money trying to keep my girl away from her tumor. I'm still searching for something that'll work...

I gave this product a real chance, the size seemed to be the right one and all. However, no matter how well you fasten it, it comes loose fairly easily. This has become a very frustrating problem because the slightest attempt by my dog to get off this muzzle is always successful. Like I said, it’s not that the muzzle is too big or anything, the size seems just right but the straps get loose way too easily and they don’t hold in the place you want them to. Maybe I got a lemon and this product works better for others, but as for me, I am not satisfied with it at all. Now I’ll have to find a replacement.

This product is NOT meant for a dog with a longer snout. The top part is a joke and came up maybe two inches from the nose of my Weimaraner. The straps are also significantly too long to get it tight enough to stay in place (small head, but longer about and big ears). If you can finagle it somehow, it squishes the nose up and they have a hard time breathing. He, who is 70 lbs, easily had it pushed off within ten minutes (and he had a cone on at the time). The concept is brilliant, as there are not enough options to keep a dog from post surgical sites, but the delivery in this product is lacking. I was super excited to get it because I thought we’d finally found the answer, but was sorely disappointed once received. Having said all that, the quality of the product itself is great. It just needs some tweaks on the design.

After measuring my dog, I thought I would need a large. When the item came in it was way too large for my dog so I contacted the company and they asked me which size would I need and they would replace it for me. I figured a medium would do, silly me I was measuring my dog and his fur not his neck. So of course the medium I received was still too big. The contacted me to see if everything was ok. I told them I would need a small, they were very helpful once again and sent me a small. All the orders came in very quick. I will be sending the other two back. The muzzle fits fine and am happy with the product and all their support. Thanks.

Very satisfied with this product. It closes the mouth, unlike other muzzles, but yet they can still breathe fine. Works well if your puppy is crazy like mine when getting nails cut or if she tries to bite the mailman.. they were very cooperative and mailed me correct size muzzle since the first once didn’t fit quite right. 10/10 recommend!

This muzzle is poorly made. My dogs is nearly 100 pounds. It was too large and did not fit properly. No instructions. Cheaply made. Flimsy material. Wish I could return and get my money back.

This is the perfect muzzle , soft non abrasive, light weight for my puppy. But no instructions on strapping it . And there are several straps I don't know where they go.
