BAD PRODUCT
After many years of experience, repairing discs with my JFJ machine and supplies, I have decided to give another product a shot, so I purchased this item. I still had some of my original compounds left, so I decided I would compare the two products over a weeks time, and see which one performed better. Unfortunately, I have to give Discmagic brand products two thumbs down, for the following reasons.Upon opening the box, the blue compound was already separated and very water. Additionally, it had a very bad scent, which right away made me not want to use it, or be around it. For the sake of comparing the two products, I proceeded to test it out. What I noticed was the compound was shredding the pads and ruining them. After only 15 repairs, and ruining two of my pads I gave up using the Discmagic brand blue compound. When I took the white compound out of the box, I right away noticed it was much thicker than the blue compound, and even had a consistency of mud. After doing a few 1-min repairs with the white compound, there was a lot of waste of the product in my machine. My conclusion is that the white compound is so hard, that it doesn't absorb into the pad and just wears off causing the pad to shred away much quicker. In addition, after filling the extra bottle included with the gallon size compounds (for easier application) I noticed that the bottle makes it hard to use the second half of the compound, because it sticks to the bottle. To me, this is also a waste. Another major difference I noticed with the Discmagic brand white compound is that it does not cut/remove scratches as well as the original JFJ white compound I have been using. I am no expert, but it seems to me that too much silicone is being used in the product, to produce a fake shine that seems to fade after awhile.Overall, I was completely unsatisfied and Dismagics aftermarket premium products. I feel that a "premium" product should have premium results, and the only thing I think that is premium about this product is the price that I paid. I still have to the run the machine for 1-minute with the blue and 1-minute with the white compound, and the results just are not as good as using the original compounds from JFJ. Therefore, I will be returning both gallons for a refund

Good Buy
Very high quality product. I feel this product outperforms JFJ factory supplies both in finish quality and amount of discs repaired. This is my first Discmagic purchase. I would definitely recommend Discmagic polish if you own a JFJ unit. I find The OEM Supplies seem to have faded in quality over the years (and the pads). In fact I was thinking about upgrading disc repair units altogether to something more commercial like an RTI due to the machine marks left by the JFJ unit, and its OEM supplies. Now that I have tried the higher quality Discmagic products, I will continue to use my easypro's. Thanks
