Bought this as a birthday gift for a good friend that lives here in the mountains, but, is always dreaming of the beach. I saw it and immediately thought of her :) Arrives in a little drawstring, velvet pouch that's perfect for gift giving. It really is super cute and I would buy one for myself if I could stand anything around my ankle.She loved it! Immediately put it on-really does wrap twice around, (still NOT a necklace like a couple of others have claimed, pfft!) The turtle charm hangs down just the right amount, too. Still the BEST part is she loves it! Makes a thoughtful gift for those dreaming of the beach :)

In the product picture, the plainer band on this ankle bracelet duo is the shorter one, enabling the starfish to dangle downwards. Unfortunately, that plainer band is the longer one, so the dangling starfish gets tangled with it.If it had been as shown in the picture, it would have received 4 Stars from me, because it's cute. Since it doesn't end up looking like the picture, and because it's irritating having the starfish catch, it only gets 2-1/2. I'll round it up to 3 for now, and see how it holds up. If anything else turns out to be wrong or dissapointing, I'll change my review downwards.

Pretty much resembles the pictures shown! I love that the chain has adjustable/extra links. It does fit around my large cankles! Came with a cute black purse thing to store. My only complaint is that the smaller chain should be on top as to not interfere with the turtle. I know that the modeled pictures shows as such, but I originally thought the turtle was a charm on the smaller chain.

It is a really cute piece of jewelry but it is both too short and too long to wear as an ankle bracelet. It cannot be worn as an ankle bracelet without needing to wrap it, because it is too long. But it is not long enough to wrap it twice to wear as an ankle bracelet. I do not care for it as a necklace.

So its long in length but not long enough to wrap around my ankle , mind you I have thin ankles . I tried several ways to try and make it wrap around my ankle and just couldn't the length is awkward, too long and too short ... it tangles easily its not fun to deal with . I ended up wearing as a necklace lol !

I needed a new ankle bracelet as my mother stated I should have silver or gold ones. So on my hunt I found this and it’s all that is shown in the picture. It actually can be used as a necklace as well. But as an ankle bracelet you would double the loop around. The materials used are very nice and seems durable. But I wouldn’t want to wear it 24/7. I would recommend this friends and family.

Surprised by the poor reviews....my experience is great value for the $$$$.....I rarely have taken it off since getting it 2 wks ago! Love the whale tail, love the color, love the 2 strand, love the beachy motif, love everything about it!! Swim, shower, sleep etc in it, can be made tighter/looser with the lobster clasp and plenty of chain, I have had lots of compliments, my hubby thinks its great!! anyway, totally worth the $.
