Steel Pallet Buster Tool Replacement Head in Black – Deck Wrecker Head Pallet Tool, Deck Board Removal Tool

This pallet buster is working like a champ! So I have these pallets that we receive material at work regularly. The wood is thick and really straight for pallets. I have thought often about all the outdoor projects I could build with them. So I began looking into getting a pallet buster. I went with this one because its design is unique from the others I have seen advertised. Most have the lever arms welded to the piece of angle iron and that is it. I liked the fact that on this one, the lever arms extend all the way back to the fulcrum and are welded in 2 places. You would think that would increase the strength and durability of the tool.My package arrived in good condition and as expected, so it was time to try this bad boy out. It greatly exceeded my expectations. I was so amazed at how quickly I ripped through the first pallet that I timed myself on the second. 6 minutes! The lever arms are wide enough that it give the slats good support so that it doesn't crack and break boards. And as you can see from the pictures the nails pull out straight which makes removing them much easier. I am definitely satisfied with my purchase. It will pay for itself quickly in the money I'll save buying that lumber.

This product worked well on the first couple of pallets. After the fourth or fifth pallet I noticed it started to split the boards lengthwise. Upon investigating the cause, I found that the tube that the tool pivots on had collapsed changing the angle of the forks so that they lifted the boards unevenly. Since the two bad collapsed the welds that attach the forks started flexing as well. The tool is no longer useful. Don’t waste your money.

Take a bit of strength to use. Found a perfect bar for the device at a second-hand store.

It is an awesome tool, I put a 6' bar on it to make the job a little easier. The toll is well built and will last for years.

Saved a bunch of time but, the thin walled pipe bent very easy.

This is a great tool. With this tool I can take apart pallets and also remove deck boards with ease. I love it.

I used it on 3 pellets in that bent . Show I requested a second one and that 1 Bent too

Super produit

This works good for softwood skids but hardwood skids it bent the prongs. Also cant find anything hard enough for a handle it keeps breaking or bending the pole. I've used hardwood shovel handles, a metal shovel handle . So this was pretty much a waste of money
