I ordered two different journals from different stores on amazon. I use journals every day. Since I was on the fence, I purchased them both. Comparing them to each other, its no contest. If you can see my photos, this is the one on the right. Leather is excellent heavy, yet pliable quality for a journal, and I know this one will keep forever. It stays open nicely so you don't have to hold it down while you are writing. I didn't notice the small blemish on the cover (see pic) because it looks like it belongs there, and it will suffer abuse at my hands. The pages are generous, you could easily draw with a hard or soft lead and not see it on the other side of the page. Not so good for watercolors I imagine. I have a heavy hand, and use several fountain pens with several colors of ink and have not experienced bleed through on this journal. The pictures should also show another Amazon purchase of a tobacco pouch of matching leather grain, that I use for 4 different colors of disposable fountain pens at a time. My point is that the leather is exactly the color you see, and the nice quality makes it so easy to blend with other fine leathers. It is important to purchase from a company that will still be there anytime I need to purchase refills. Shipping time and condition was very good. These are going to make great Christmas gifts.

Purchased this journal for a gift. My friend loved the appearance and is going to have her initials engraved on the front. Also she was happy to see that the journal is refillable. It's a plus to be able to reuse the cover and keep the first pages separate when completed.

Love this journal. It is very durable which allows me to use it in a lot of different ways. I'm able to bring it to construction sites as a daily planner, then take it straight to the board room to present projects.

I love all the options for paper with this beautiful leather case. Feels durable as well and can sustain lots of travel, let kids doodle a bit, but plenty of room for adults, too. Its a great size for most purses/bags. Very pleased!

Nothing but great things to say about this product and seller. The one thing I worried about was the strap and loop which holds the journal closed and it's reliability, however, after using this is definitely a high-quality product for a great price. Seller provides prompt and personable responses. The only feedback I would provide to the seller is better photos illustrating this great product.

Beautiful journal. The leather is soft and a really pretty color. I bought the grid notebook insert and am planning to use it as a planner / bullet journal. This journal would also make a great gift. Love it!

Bought this for my husband who likes to write with a fountain pen. The leather cover is very nice, and the pages are good quality and don't bleed through
