I don't write product reviews ever and J purchased the Tarot of the Cloisters deck after much deliberation. I have to say I'm really glad I went with it. It's colors are even more vibrant in person, and while the backs don't look as impressive in the photos they're really very pleasant to look at in person. It's nice to take a break from all the black bakers you commonly see. I was worried the circular cards would be difficult to handle but they fit in the palm of the hand (just bigger than it really) and thus don't slid around as much as I feared. The company was extremely prompt in getting me the book pdf when the QR code didn't work for me, and in general I couldn't be more pleased.Lovely if you're looking for a little something special!

These cards are okay. It's a variant of the standard RWS deck, but the cards are holographic and very very shiny. They also have Chinese titles on ALL the cards in addition to the standard English titles for the Majors and court cards. Fortunately, they kept Pixie's original font and didn't change it like USG did. The cards are also only slightly larger than standard playing cards, so they're easy to handle for those with small hands.The reason I give these cards three stars is that the box is incredibly flimsy. I tore the top flap almost in half when I first opened the box. The finish on the cards is also easily scratched. It'll stay shiny, but there will be a visible dent in the artwork if it gets scratched. The cardstock is okay--it's a little on the thin side but gets the job done. Be careful when shuffling, though, lest the cards get bent.This is an inexpensive deck that's good for beginners. It has all the RWS art and colouring schemes, so it can be used with any standard guidebook. It's flashy, and for the price point, I'm not complaining. I just wish the box and cardstock were a bit sturdier.

Being a beginner, it's not really that big of an issue.... but being someone who is big on the feel of the cards it was kind of way less than i expected. The cards are a bit flimsy and have a filmy feel, what really disappointed me was that there wasn't an actual guide book (being the main reason I ordered such small cards was to have the book in the go to study as often as possible.) Instead it was a oversized paper folded multiple times which makes it impossible to go off of. If your looking for a simple easy deck to use as clarifiers, than this is probably for you... if your beginning and looking to learn, I would suggest something more efficient.

Arrived quickly. Exactly as described. I didn’t notice before purchasing that the minor cards (numbered wands, swords, cups, pentacles) have Chinese writing only (major cards contain both Chinese and English) but they are easy to decipher as these cards pictures include what it represents (such as two cups etc). Overall very pleased with purchase as this deck is easier to understand and will help me memorize the cards better than another deck I already have.

Cute little deck. Reads really clear for me. Great for beginners as a starter deck. Great for collectors of round decks. It follows RWS system.
