I ordered this item for a co-worker the day she unfortunately witnessed her poor cat get run over, and had to say goodbye. She held him in her arms just as the girl cradles the cat in this figurine. I wanted to get something to bring her comfort, and help her to remember their loving bond. It brought tears to my eyes when I opened the box. The details were beautifully finished. The packaging was perfect. I think that this figurine, "kindness," is an especially appropriate gift for someone that loves cats, has lost their cat, or just adopted a cat. There is a sweetness depicted in this figurine that celebrates the love and kindness shared between a girl or woman and her cat.

LOVE these little figurines...
I am a total fan of these little figurines and have had at least a half a dozen over the course of time. Some have been knocked over by my cats when they were kittens so have been replaced with either an identical one or something different. Love them all! They are very simple in design but there is just something spiritually soothing about them... A little pricey hence the 4 stars, but worth it for sure.

Lovely little figurine
I really like the Willow Tree figurines. I have one of an angel holding a cat, got that after the loss of one of my fur babies in 2011, and I ordered this one after the loss of another cat in November 2019. It's quite small, but has emotional meaning for me. I would recommend any Willow Tree product; I've not seen any that aren't lovely.
