Versatile but with one serious flaw for my application
Very easy to set up and does what it is claimed to do but with some drawbacks.1. UK connector forces the unit to be installed upside down with the connectors upwards where they will collect dust and rubbish if connectors are not present.2. User manual is small and easily lost; the only on-line version I have been able to find is out of date although technically correct.3. If configured to provide a wireless link between an ADSL router and a small wired network ("WISP mode"), the DHCP configuration is lost if power fails even momentarily. DHCP has to be re-enabled with a computer, made more difficult if the wireless re-broadcast capability is turned off (it is not required in my case). The link goes down and stays down until the unit is reconfigured with a computer. Ironic, as the unit is fitted with a power on/off switch. Other configuration settings are correctly retained.Neat and cost effective unit other than for the one mode that I want to use.

A friend got it to work quite easily after a bit of fiddling.
With my rather limited expertise, I was unable to make it link as a repeater, but a friend got it to work quite easily after a bit of fiddling, and now the distant part of the house has a good signal. The directions are ok, but the software itself is rather obscure and does not offer much guidance. So for 14.00ukp? Well, once working it's a bargain.

Cheap and nasty
Hopeless product. Cheap and nasty. The ports are labelled incorrectly (actually the absolute reverse of the correct labeling), the plug is the opposite way around to the pictures on amazon and the web interface is amateurish. The reset doesn't seem to work properly. Has gone straight into the bin and been replaced by a slightly more expensive but far far better quality product that actually works.
