If you are looking for the heart of New Jersey, the urban-suburban ethnic, blue collar/ middle class , cheek by jowl,ethnic, Italian-Irish-Spanish, over populated , car driving , traffic jamming , how u doin, it aint Springsteen's Freehold or Seaside Heights it's Bayonne.

In researching my family tree, this book not only gave a wealth of information on the town my ancestors were born and grew up in but there was also a picture of my maternal grandmother at Horace Mann grammar school. it was very exciting.
