Kala Masala, 100gm

I have used all the different masalas from wandering foodie and I honestly love each and every one of them! Every spice mix is carefully developed and the result is a beautiful blend of flavors that make your dish taste absolutely fantastic. Each spice mix comes with a suggested recipe but I have improvised while cooking and the outcome is always tasty. All the blends are made from locally sourced, regional Indian ingredients which makes them different from the generic Indian spice mixes you get in the US. Happy cooking!

This powder is very tasty and doesn't have an unpleasant aftertaste like other products. It tastes close to the powders my mother uses in India. I am very pleased.

This is genuine podi to be eaten with idlis and dosas. Feels exactly like the podi my mother used to buy from Matunga, Mumbai. Loved it!

Authentic!! The moment I opened the pack the smell of Khandeshi spices brought me back to Nasik. Makes for perfect recipes. Highly recommended!

Terrible - not ground properly at all!

Possibly one of the best spice mixes for a rustic smoky lamb curry. Reminds me of my trips to interiors of rural India where you can find these fiery lamb curries that are loaded with flavour.I have been looking for this particular blend - Kala Masala, from the western state of maharashtra for years about could not get hold of it in any Asian shop anywhere in the UK. This is an absolute gem. Will be stocking up on this mix. Perfect for some Slow cooked lamb, paired with a nice red wine! Brilliant! #Hits the spot
