Amazing book. A must have !!!!!

Beautiful photographs but very poor translation which is very difficult to read and almost incomprehensible at times.

The notes at the end of this book state that Palmer White's 'Haute Couture Embroidery, The Art of Lesage', published in 1988, is the definitive book of the House of Lesage. This book in my opinion is a mere vanity project from the present creative director and hardly expands on the information on previous book, in fact a large percentage of the photographs were already in Mr White's book. Do not waste you money on this one, find a copy of Palmer White's book instead.

Bought for Christmas for our artistic daughter. She loves it but its quality means that you have to take time to work your way through it to savour it.
